TinGrill restaurant
TinGrill is a steakhouse in Pak Nam, central Krabi, drawing consistent praise for the quality of its grilled beef and pork. The restaurant prices meat by weight, allowing diners to choose their cut and quantity — an approach that regular visitors appreciate for its transparency. The menu leans toward Western-style grilled dishes, and the food presentation is noted as considered and above average for the area. The venue is small and carries a pleasant atmosphere, making it a popular choice for a special evening out. Seating is limited, and the restaurant can fill quickly, particularly on occasions like Valentine's Day when the kitchen may shift to a set menu format. Indoor and outdoor seating options are available, with the outdoor area offering more flexibility on busy nights. A practical note for visitors: booking ahead is strongly recommended, especially for couples or groups planning a celebratory dinner, as walk-ins risk missing out on a table entirely. The kitchen opens at 4 PM daily and runs until midnight, making it equally suited to early dinners and late-night meals. One detail worth noting from visitor feedback is that the venue's interior could use some upkeep, though this does not appear to affect the overall dining experience. Those with specific steak preferences should communicate their preferred doneness clearly when ordering.

Visitor Reviews
Been there 5 Times, the food was Always pretty good quality food so far AS I would expect for Higher priced Restaurants. The only downside is that the place itself could really need some maintenance, new paint, clean tablecloth, all in one a good look... For ways over 1000 Baht each time I would expect that to BE better to BE honest, but AS Long AS the food is good, that's Sort of okay...
Very good steak house. Great quality, beautiful atmosphere and lovely service. The restaurant is not big. If you have a special night make sure you book beforehand. Unless you want to sit outside in which case I guess you are fine just walking in. I hade the tenderloin cut. Very juicy and fragrant. You can choose two sides with it. Prices are fair for the quality you get.
We came here (not intentionally) on Valentines Day night. And they had a limited menu, as they were focused on their Valentines Day set. They still had some of the regular menu, but could not cater to requests like wanting french fries instead of mashed potatoes. Anyway, we eventually decided to try their special set meal since it was offered and seemed good value for money, considering how they are normally priced. Staff were really nice and they spoke some basic English. Food took a very long time to arrive, even tho the restaurant was not busy when we were seated. It took around 45mins before we were served. Not ideal and we were very hungry, but could see that they had a very small kitchen and crew. The baked seafood in buttery puff (2nd course) was actually served first haha. It was actually pretty good, even tho the cream sauce had split. Taste was nice and seafood is fresh. Our salad and main course were served together. I must say, everything was of a high quality. The steaks were absolutely perfect. The mash and sauce and roasted gojuchang mushrooms were great. We actually enjoyed this meal very much. Japanese tomato caprese salad was served with mint instead of basil. And there was a dollop of thick cream too that made the dish taste very rich. The desserts fell a little short, unfortunately. The panna cotta was too dense. And the cream in the almond strawberry cake was way, way too dense and rich to the point it tasted like eating a block of butter. Can be improved as the texture should be light. Anyway, I would come again, outside of special occassions haha to try their regular menu. We have heard friends recommend this place as excellent, which I agree - the steaks were trully amazing. But the other dishes not so much.

Learn the Spice Scale
Say 'mai pet' for no spice, 'pet nit noi' for a little spice, or 'pet mak' if you want it Thai-hot. Most cooks will default to a toned-down version for foreigners unless you specify otherwise.
Follow the Crowds
The busiest street stalls are almost always the best — high turnover means fresh ingredients and a recipe that locals vouch for. An empty restaurant at dinner time is a red flag.
Ice Is Safe
Factory-made tube or cylinder ice (used in virtually all restaurants and stalls) is made from purified water and is safe to consume. You don't need to skip the iced Thai tea.
