Garnish.Samui
Tucked away on the second floor of Fisherman's Village in Bo Put, this cocktail bar has carved out a serious reputation among cocktail enthusiasts visiting Koh Samui. The bar is led by hands-on ownership, with host and owner Pok known for personally walking guests through the menu and the thinking behind each drink. Nothing here is designed to be ordinary — the focus is firmly on experimental, ingredient-driven cocktails where unusual flavour combinations are the entire point. Visitors can expect a polished yet relaxed atmosphere that sits comfortably apart from the louder, more commercial nightlife found elsewhere on the island. The cocktail menu leans creative and sophisticated, drawing on carefully considered ingredients that reward curious drinkers willing to try something outside the usual. Repeat visits are common, which speaks to the consistency of both the drinks and the hospitality. The venue is better suited to those who want to savour and explore rather than drink quickly and move on. Good to know: Garnish opens daily at 4 PM and closes at midnight, making it a strong choice for an early evening drink or a considered nightcap. Because this is a craft cocktail bar with a deliberately experimental approach, light drinkers or those after standard beers may find the menu less suited to their tastes. Checking the website ahead of your visit is worthwhile for any updated menu information or special events.

Visitor Reviews
Pok was an amazing host and owner. He went over the drinks in great detail and let us know that nothing here is ordinary but rather has a creative twist which makes this bar, more of an experimental cocktail bar. We were also offered a complimentary shot, which made the birthday celebration even more special. He also provided us with a complimentary snack (bbq corn snacks) and they were phenomenal as well. We had the Slow Espresso Martini, Bee's Knees, and shared the Miami Vice as a dessert cocktail. Overall, would highly recommend Garnish Bar.
If you are a light drinker and a beee drinker skip this place. The signature cocktails are so sophisticated that you want to try them all. On each sip you realize that every ingredient is in harmony. A good cocktail should reflect the geography, the cuisine and a little twist from the bartender. This place executed them all. Right now I’m coming up with reasons to my girlfriend on why we should go to fisherman’s village “Oh lets shop there, eat here, best massage place…” so I can try the rest of the menu. Cheers Pok.
I had an amazing time at Garnish Bar! Their cocktails are top quality — every drink is crafted with creativity and made from unique ingredients that bring out incredible flavors. The taste is truly wonderful and full of surprises. The place itself has such a great vibe; it’s inspiring and fun to be there. I learned so much about new flavors and mixology, and now I just can’t wait to go back and try every drink on the menu!

Carry Your Passport or a Copy
Clubs and some bars check IDs strictly, especially in Bangkok's Thonglor, RCA, and Sukhumvit areas. A photo of your passport info page on your phone usually works, but carrying a laminated photocopy is safer.
Know the Closing Times
Legal closing time is 2 AM for most venues, though enforcement varies. In Bangkok's designated entertainment zones (RCA, Silom Soi 2/4, Khao San), some clubs stay open until 4 AM. Islands tend to be more relaxed about hours.
Buy Bucket Drinks Cautiously
Island bucket drinks (mixed spirits in a small bucket) are cheap and fun but notoriously strong and inconsistent. Stick to one, stay hydrated, and never leave your drink unattended at beach parties.
