Reggae Bar Bangkok
Tucked down Soi Ram Buttri just behind the main Khao San Road strip, this budget-friendly bar has quietly earned a loyal following among travellers who prefer atmosphere over spectacle. The reggae soundtrack sets a reliably relaxed tone, and live music performances are a regular draw — past visitors have praised the musicians enthusiastically, with the guitar playing in particular drawing repeated mentions. The crowd tends to be a mix of backpackers and seasoned Khao San regulars who know to skip the main drag and head here instead.
The vibe is casual and unpretentious, with cold drinks, easy conversation, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere that keeps people coming back night after night. Drinks are paid for as ordered, keeping things simple and straightforward. The decoration and general energy of the space have a way of catching the attention of passersby, and many visitors describe it as their default stop whenever they are in the area.

Reviews from Google
This is the best reggae bar in Khaosan Road and around we came in as we were passing and the decoration and the good vibe caught out our attention. The service it was amazing the waiter had a great vibe and was very friendly and welcoming, we ordered and the drinks came fast. They had live acoustic music and it was amazing to hear such great singer and drums, they also had television on which it was going on a great movie that had me addicted almost the whole time. Drinks have an affordable price we had a soda water and a beer and really had fun on such a great place with a very creative decoration on which you can relax and also smoke weed if you’d like.
Super bar! We were there every night to enjoy the live music. It is hidden behind of main Khaosan road but still it has its own vibe and the people coming to this bar know how to enjoy. The band happy together does great concert and people start dancing in the middle.
Chill Reggae bar in crazy loud Khao San road. It’s our togo bar whenever visiting Khao san road area. Recommended!

Tips for Visiting Nightlife & Bars
Carry Your Passport or a Copy
Clubs and some bars check IDs strictly, especially in Bangkok's Thonglor, RCA, and Sukhumvit areas. A photo of your passport info page on your phone usually works, but carrying a laminated photocopy is safer.
Know the Closing Times
Legal closing time is 2 AM for most venues, though enforcement varies. In Bangkok's designated entertainment zones (RCA, Silom Soi 2/4, Khao San), some clubs stay open until 4 AM. Islands tend to be more relaxed about hours.
Buy Bucket Drinks Cautiously
Island bucket drinks (mixed spirits in a small bucket) are cheap and fun but notoriously strong and inconsistent. Stick to one, stay hydrated, and never leave your drink unattended at beach parties.
