Big C Supercenter Phuket
One of the largest Big C stores in Thailand, this sprawling hypermarket in Tambon Wichit serves as a reliable one-stop destination for travellers and locals alike. The store carries an extensive range of products spanning groceries, household goods, clothing, electronics, and a wide beer and spirits selection, with both local Thai brands and international products well represented. Visitors have noted it as a particularly good spot to pick up souvenirs, stocking a broader variety than many dedicated souvenir shops. The atmosphere is casual and functional, with a spacious layout that makes browsing straightforward. A basement food court adds to the appeal for those looking for a quick, affordable meal between activities. The store has recently undergone interior renovations, with the grocery section redesigned to a higher standard. While some specialty items such as gourmet coffee beans or premium teas are limited in selection, the general range comfortably exceeds what smaller supermarket chains in the area offer. Open every day from 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM, the consistent hours make it easy to factor into any itinerary. Early morning visits are generally quieter and better suited to efficient shopping. The central Phuket location makes it a convenient stop when travelling between the island's southern beaches and other attractions, whether stocking up on snacks, toiletries, or beach supplies.

Visitor Reviews
The best place to buy souvenirs. Big C is a quite famous super market chain in Thailand and I have been to some of their shops. This is by far the biggest Big C store in my experience. Plenty kind of items are available in reasonable prices even for locals. No reason not to come here if you are traveler who have lots of friends, colleagues and families in your living place.
Spacious 3-bedroom villa with private pool and modern comforts. Quiet location near Promthep Cape, Big Buddha, Rawai, and Nai Harn Beach – ideal for your Phuket getaway.
Large department store with wide choice that is bit better than average Lotus or 7-Eleven, but some more gourmet items like natural coffee beans or tea are limited in choice. Great beer selection, dome unusual tastes like coffee-infused beer:) Prices are on par with 7-Eleven and bit higher than Lotus or something local like Supercheap.

Haggle at Markets, Not Malls
Prices at market stalls are negotiable — start at 50–60% of the asking price and meet in the middle. Fixed-price shops and malls don't haggle. Smile and keep it friendly; aggressive bargaining is considered rude.
Arrive Early or Late
Vendors believe the first sale of the day is lucky — you'll often get a better deal if you arrive right when the market opens. Late in the evening, sellers may also discount to avoid packing unsold goods.
Be Cautious with Tailors
Bangkok has excellent tailors, but also many tourist traps. Avoid anyone offering suspiciously cheap suits or who approaches you on the street. Ask your hotel for recommendations, read reviews, and always get two fittings.
