Big C Supercenter Phuket
One of the largest Big C stores in Thailand, this hypermarket in Tambon Wichit functions as a genuine one-stop shop for travellers and locals alike. The sheer scale sets it apart from smaller chains on the island, with a broad product range covering fresh groceries, household goods, clothing, electronics, and an impressive selection of domestic and imported beer and spirits. It also earns consistent praise as an unexpectedly strong spot for souvenirs, stocking a wider variety than many dedicated souvenir shops around Phuket. The interior has undergone recent renovation, with the grocery section redesigned to a noticeably higher standard. The layout is spacious and easy to navigate, lending the whole experience a relaxed, unhurried feel. A basement food court provides a practical option for a quick, affordable meal, making it a convenient midday stop rather than a detour. While some specialty items such as gourmet coffee beans or premium teas are limited in selection, the general range comfortably covers most traveller needs. Open every day from 8am to 10pm, the consistent hours make it straightforward to work into any itinerary. The central Phuket location suits those travelling between the island's southern beaches and other inland attractions. Early morning visits tend to be quieter, which makes for more efficient browsing, particularly during the busy high season when the store sees heavier foot traffic later in the day.

Visitor Reviews
The best place to buy souvenirs. Big C is a quite famous super market chain in Thailand and I have been to some of their shops. This is by far the biggest Big C store in my experience. Plenty kind of items are available in reasonable prices even for locals. No reason not to come here if you are traveler who have lots of friends, colleagues and families in your living place.
Spacious 3-bedroom villa with private pool and modern comforts. Quiet location near Promthep Cape, Big Buddha, Rawai, and Nai Harn Beach – ideal for your Phuket getaway.
Large department store with wide choice that is bit better than average Lotus or 7-Eleven, but some more gourmet items like natural coffee beans or tea are limited in choice. Great beer selection, dome unusual tastes like coffee-infused beer:) Prices are on par with 7-Eleven and bit higher than Lotus or something local like Supercheap.

Tips for Visiting Markets & Shopping
Haggle at Markets, Not Malls
Prices at market stalls are negotiable — start at 50–60% of the asking price and meet in the middle. Fixed-price shops and malls don't haggle. Smile and keep it friendly; aggressive bargaining is considered rude.
Arrive Early or Late
Vendors believe the first sale of the day is lucky — you'll often get a better deal if you arrive right when the market opens. Late in the evening, sellers may also discount to avoid packing unsold goods.
Be Cautious with Tailors
Bangkok has excellent tailors, but also many tourist traps. Avoid anyone offering suspiciously cheap suits or who approaches you on the street. Ask your hotel for recommendations, read reviews, and always get two fittings.
