Lotus's Phuket

4.4(5,625 reviews)

This is where you go when the villa fridge is empty and the sunscreen ran out. A proper hypermarket with a shopping centre wrapped around it: groceries, fresh produce, cold drinks, clothing, home appliances, a sizeable hardware section, and smaller shops and food outlets inside and around the building, KFC among them. Prices are everyday Thai retail rather than resort markup, which is the whole point.

The food court is the bit travellers underrate. Plenty of stalls, local and international, and it's a cheap breakfast if you're up early anyway. There are coffee shops and restaurants too, plus a children's play area if you're shopping with kids who've lost patience. Fair warning from regulars: individual stalls do run low, and tracking down one specific item can take longer than it should. Reviews of the home delivery service are noticeably rougher than reviews of the shop itself, so I'd collect in person.

Reviews from Google

A necessary supermarket in Phuket. Offers a food court where you can enjoy variety of food menus. Spacious and easy to commute to. However, certain stalls are often left empty-stocked and it was a bit difficult to find your desired product. From clothes to home appliances besides food and drinks, this supermarket offers many options for shoppers. Parking is not a problem as the parking lot is super big. A really convenient and it was a good experience shopping there.

Very good shopping center. Here you can find food of the best quality, modern clothing, a large hardware store and many restaurants and coffee houses for undisturbed shopping. There is also a children's playground.

Ordered yesterday and they said will come 2~6pm then sms come 4pm “shipped” but did not come and arrived 8pm Then many thing wet with sticky things. And delivery man said “wet from other soap” then he bring towel and wash that. But..Soap can wash with towel? Must need to clean with water And bring it to room then knew that. It was not from other soap. It was from hand soap that i ordered. That’s packing broken and soap flow out and made wet all things So bad service and bad delivery. I will strongly complain to service center !

Tips for Visiting Markets & Shopping

Haggle at Markets, Not Malls

Prices at market stalls are negotiable — start at 50–60% of the asking price and meet in the middle. Fixed-price shops and malls don't haggle. Smile and keep it friendly; aggressive bargaining is considered rude.

Arrive Early or Late

Vendors believe the first sale of the day is lucky — you'll often get a better deal if you arrive right when the market opens. Late in the evening, sellers may also discount to avoid packing unsold goods.

Be Cautious with Tailors

Bangkok has excellent tailors, but also many tourist traps. Avoid anyone offering suspiciously cheap suits or who approaches you on the street. Ask your hotel for recommendations, read reviews, and always get two fittings.
