Phratamnak Night Market
Tucked into the Phratamnak neighbourhood of Pattaya, this open-air market runs every day of the week until 2am, making it one of the more flexible options for visitors on varying schedules. It draws a mix of locals and travellers with a broad spread of ready-made meals, fresh produce, meats, fruits, and street food stalls alongside vendors selling clothing and everyday goods — all at prices that reviewers consistently describe as very affordable. The food offering is a particular draw. Visitors have highlighted everything from fresh-pressed juices and fried rice to Philly cheese steak sandwiches, reflecting the eclectic mix of Thai street food and international options available. A notable fresh juice stand has earned praise for generous portions and healthy combinations including celery, beetroot, carrot, apple, and ginger. The surrounding area includes condos and hotels within walking distance, which makes the market a convenient option for self-catering travellers or those looking for a casual dinner without venturing far. Being fully outdoors, the market has no air conditioning, so visitors should factor in Pattaya's heat and humidity when planning their visit, particularly during warmer months. Bringing cash is advisable as not all vendors are likely to accept card payments. The market operates daily from 8am through to 2am, though the evening hours tend to offer the fullest vendor turnout and the liveliest atmosphere.

Has a great selection of pre made meals, veggies, meat and various other items at a very good price. Cheaper than making it at home. They also have fruits and other carts around for more choices. Very nice vendors as well. Great to stop by a get a quick meal to take home.

Tips for Visiting Markets & Shopping
Haggle at Markets, Not Malls
Prices at market stalls are negotiable — start at 50–60% of the asking price and meet in the middle. Fixed-price shops and malls don't haggle. Smile and keep it friendly; aggressive bargaining is considered rude.
Arrive Early or Late
Vendors believe the first sale of the day is lucky — you'll often get a better deal if you arrive right when the market opens. Late in the evening, sellers may also discount to avoid packing unsold goods.
Be Cautious with Tailors
Bangkok has excellent tailors, but also many tourist traps. Avoid anyone offering suspiciously cheap suits or who approaches you on the street. Ask your hotel for recommendations, read reviews, and always get two fittings.
