THE SAUNA Phratamnak Soi 6
Most day-spa setups in Pattaya want a lot more than 200 baht, and few of them throw in a towel and a bottle of water. That's the pitch here on Pratumnak Soi 6: a large pool with sun loungers around it, a sauna, a steam room, an ice bath and a hot tub, all kept clean enough that reviewers keep saying so unprompted. You can happily lose an afternoon cycling between the heat and the cold water.
The food is the part people don't expect. Reviewers rate the Thai cooking as properly authentic rather than the limp poolside stuff you brace yourself for, and there are lighter options on the menu too. It's also a social place. There are parties on the calendar and a friendly, open-minded crowd, so if you want silence and solitude, come earlier in the day rather than late afternoon.

The staff is great as well as the pool, steam room, ice bath, and hot tub are great. The food here is amazing and some of the most authentic Thai I have had. Simply Delicious.
Clean, well-maintained, and very relaxing atmosphere. The facilities are excellent, with a great sauna, steam room, and comfortable chill-out areas. The staff are friendly, professional, and always helpful, making you feel welcome from the moment you arrive. Perfect place to unwind, meet people, and enjoy some real relaxation in Pattaya. Great value for money and definitely one of the best saunas in town. Highly recommended — I will definitely come back!

Tips for Visiting Activities & Tours
Vet Elephant Sanctuaries
Only visit sanctuaries that prohibit riding, use no chains or bullhooks, and let elephants roam freely. Elephant Nature Park in Chiang Mai set the standard. If a place offers painting shows or circus tricks, walk away.
Book Popular Activities Online
Booking platforms like GetYourGuide give you instant confirmation and, on many activities, free cancellation — and you can read recent reviews before committing. Compare with local agencies for multi-day trips where negotiation might save more.
Do Outdoor Activities in the Morning
Heat and humidity peak from noon to 3 PM. Schedule jungle treks, cycling tours, and outdoor cooking classes for early morning. Water activities are more flexible since you're in and out of the sea.
