kruatabird
Kruatabird is a seafood food stall operating within Pattaya's night market, drawing a loyal following of both locals and returning visitors with its straightforward approach to fresh, flame-cooked seafood at reasonable prices. Dishes like tom yum soup, garlic butter shrimp, and pad thai appear consistently across visitor accounts, with several diners noting they returned multiple times during a single trip — and in at least one case, planned a return visit to Pattaya specifically for the food. The atmosphere reflects its night market setting: lively, packed, and casual. Service is notably quick despite the volume of customers, and the young owner has earned repeated praise for his hands-on presence and hospitality. The combination of quality, speed, and price point makes it a practical choice for travellers who want a satisfying seafood meal without a lengthy or expensive dining experience. Good to know: Kruatabird is open every day of the week from 1:00 PM to 10:30 PM, with no weekly closure days. Given its consistent popularity and compact stall format, arriving earlier in the afternoon or on a weekday evening may mean shorter waits. Check the Facebook page before visiting for any updates on availability or specials, as it serves as the primary communication channel for the business.

Visitor Reviews
If you're craving seafood in Pattaya, Kruatabird Seafood Restaurant is an absolute must-visit. From the moment you step in, you’re greeted by the lively buzz of a packed dining room—a clear sign that this place is a local gem. The first thing that hits you is the quality of the seafood: it’s incredibly fresh, like it was just plucked from the ocean minutes before landing on your plate. Whether it’s succulent prawns, tender fish, or plump crab, every bite bursts with that unmistakable taste of the sea. The flavors here are nothing short of amazing. Each dish is crafted with such expertise that you can tell the chefs know exactly how to let the natural goodness of the seafood shine while adding just the right touch of seasoning or spice. Standouts include their grilled fish, which is perfectly charred yet juicy, and the spicy seafood stir-fries that pack a punch without overwhelming the delicate ingredients. It’s clear that the kitchen takes pride in every detail. The staff only adds to the experience. They’re warm, attentive, and genuinely friendly, making you feel right at home even when the place is bustling—and trust me, it’s always full. Reservations might be a smart move if you don’t want to wait, but even the wait feels worth it once you’re seated with a plate of their magic in front of you. Kruatabird isn’t just a meal; it’s a seafood lover’s dream come true. Freshness, flavor, and fantastic service—what more could you ask for? Highly recommend!
This seafood food stall is the absolute star of the night market! The young owner is not only charming and handsome but also a brilliant entrepreneur who knows exactly how to win over his customers. The seafood here is fresher and more delicious than what you’d find in high-end restaurants, yet the prices remain incredibly reasonable. The service is warm, efficient, and always on point. Although the setting is simple, it’s impeccably clean and well-organized, making for a pleasant dining experience. It’s no surprise this spot is always packed with people—waiting for a table is totally worth it. We’ve been coming back every day this week, and it never disappoints. Truly outstanding!
Some of the best food we had in all Thailand. Tom yum soup and garlic butter shrimps are incredible. Ate here more than 5 times and most probably we will travel back to Pattaya for this restaurant.

Learn the Spice Scale
Say 'mai pet' for no spice, 'pet nit noi' for a little spice, or 'pet mak' if you want it Thai-hot. Most cooks will default to a toned-down version for foreigners unless you specify otherwise.

The busiest street stalls are almost always the best — high turnover means fresh ingredients and a recipe that locals vouch for. An empty restaurant at dinner time is a red flag.
Ice Is Safe
Factory-made tube or cylinder ice (used in virtually all restaurants and stalls) is made from purified water and is safe to consume. You don't need to skip the iced Thai tea.
