Night Market Kanchanaburi, Sai Fashion
Located on Sangchuuto Road in Mueang Kanchanaburi, this popular night market draws locals and travellers alike with its wide-ranging mix of goods and generous food offerings. Roughly a third of the market is dedicated to street food, where visitors can wind through stalls serving up a variety of Thai dishes at very affordable prices. The remaining space covers clothing — including vintage pieces and denim — alongside electronics, phone accessories, toiletries, and everyday goods, making it a practical stop as much as a leisurely browse. The atmosphere is lively and welcoming, with vendors noted for being approachable and, in many cases, conversant in basic English — a reassuring detail for international travellers. Cleanliness is a notable feature, with visitors consistently remarking on the tidy condition of the market overall. The combination of variety, low prices, and a sociable street-market energy makes it a well-regarded stop for those spending time in Kanchanaburi. The market operates on a regular schedule, so it is worth visiting in the early evening to allow enough time to explore both the food and shopping sections at a comfortable pace. Wearing comfortable walking shoes is advisable, as the market covers a reasonable amount of ground. As there is no website listed, confirming current hours locally before visiting is recommended.

Visitor Reviews
Incredible! Vintage clothes, awesome jeans, some electronics and toiletries. Everything is so cheap. I would say 1/3 is dedicated just to food and you wind your way through the food section with some seats more towards the end. So so so cheap. I loved the raw salmon with spicy seafood sauce the best

Tips for Visiting Markets & Shopping
Haggle at Markets, Not Malls
Prices at market stalls are negotiable — start at 50–60% of the asking price and meet in the middle. Fixed-price shops and malls don't haggle. Smile and keep it friendly; aggressive bargaining is considered rude.
Arrive Early or Late
Vendors believe the first sale of the day is lucky — you'll often get a better deal if you arrive right when the market opens. Late in the evening, sellers may also discount to avoid packing unsold goods.
Be Cautious with Tailors
Bangkok has excellent tailors, but also many tourist traps. Avoid anyone offering suspiciously cheap suits or who approaches you on the street. Ask your hotel for recommendations, read reviews, and always get two fittings.
