Cielo Spa

4.9(459 reviews)

Tucked along Tongsai Road in the quieter Bo Put area of Koh Samui, this spa draws visitors looking to step away from the island's busier beach strips. The setting is notably green and peaceful, with an interior that reviewers consistently describe as calm and elegant — the kind of environment that begins working on you before the treatment even starts. The facility offers traditional Thai massage alongside oil massage and a range of therapeutic treatments, with therapists who receive repeated praise for their technical skill and attentiveness to individual needs. Standout staff members are mentioned by name in multiple reviews, pointing to a level of personalised care that goes beyond the transactional. Those with specific concerns such as back pain or muscle tension have noted genuine relief following their sessions. Walk-ins are welcomed, though the experience appears equally suited to those who prefer to plan ahead. It is worth noting that pricing sits at a higher point than street-level massage options on the island, reflecting the spa setting and quality of service rather than a budget-focused offering. Good to know: The spa opens daily from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM, making it accessible whether guests prefer an early morning treatment or a wind-down session later in the day. Booking in advance is recommended during peak season between November and February. The Tongsai Road location is straightforward to reach by taxi or scooter from most parts of Koh Samui.

Visitor Reviews

Fantastic place and massage! I usually had very back aches and frozen shoulders. My masseuse Kungira did such a wonderful job that I felt so Alive again after that! Nice place with a very welcoming lobby area. Very clean private room for me and my husband. Prices were so reasonable as compared to other spas which cost twice as much. Will definitely visit here again given the chance!

Such a relaxing and quiet spa. The environment is calm and elegant, which helps you immediately feel at ease. The massage was amazing and the staff were very friendly and professional. Everything was very clean and well organized. I really enjoyed my time here and would highly recommend it if you want a peaceful spa experience in Koh Samui.

It was really good, me and my friend walk in to have traditional Thai massage and oil massage. Therapists were very good, know technics and made a deep strong massage, just as we asked! Very attentive to all body parts, we’ve got exactly what we wanted and will come back again.

Tips for Visiting Wellness & Spas

Learn Wat Pho First

Wat Pho in Bangkok is the birthplace of traditional Thai massage education. Their on-site massage pavilion offers excellent treatments from students and graduates at reasonable prices — and you know the technique is authentic.

Communicate Pressure Preferences

Thai massage can be intense. Say 'bao bao' for lighter pressure or 'nак nак' for harder. A good therapist will check in, but don't hesitate to speak up — suffering in silence defeats the purpose.

Book Longer Sessions

A 60-minute massage is fine, but 90 or 120 minutes allows the therapist to work thoroughly. The price difference is often only 200–400 THB for an extra hour — worth it for a deeper, more relaxing experience.
