Visitor Reviews
We stayed here for 2 weeks as a family of 4. A very nice hotel for the price and location. Friendly and helpfull staff, great breakfast, lovely pool, and a beautifull garden. Beds are hard (as they seem to be everywhere in Thailand). Our room was nice and comfortable, and so was the bathroom. The only real issue in this place, is the noise in the hotel. It is extremely noisy, and you can hear everything (walking outside, talking in other roms, doors being closed, drawers being opened and closed etc.) It is a lovely hotel overall, and we will most certaintly stay here again next time we visit Chiang Mai.
Fantastic stay at At Chiang Mai Hotel! The location in the Old Town is perfect — close to everything but still peaceful. The staff are truly incredible and always welcoming. The room was very clean, spacious, had AC, and cleaned every second day or each day if you prefer. The bathroom is large, there’s a great closet with a safe, and a big mini fridge which was super convenient. The pool area is awesome, with food and drink service that made it even better. Overall, a fabulous hotel and I’d highly recommend staying here! Thank you!!
Its a traditional hotel in the old town, walking distance to many touristic points. Rooms and bathrooms are big, clean, very beautifully decorated. No windows in the rooms, only in the bathroom but that was not an issue as the room was airy enough. The only issue was that there was no sound insulation, the walls were paper thin and because of the specific of the hotel, with wooden doors, the noise from outside was quite loud. Luckily enough, the hotel staff is aware of this and they put noise canceling ear plugs in the room :) Breakfast is varied and hotel staff can also help with booking different trips from Chiang Mai.
