The sea is the thing to think about here before anything else. Reviewers who swim well still describe getting pulled 50 metres along the shore in fifteen minutes, and the waves through August are genuinely strong. If you want a lazy float, go elsewhere. If you want a long walk on clean sand with hardly anyone on it, this is one of the calmer corners of Phuket's west coast.
The beach sits in Choeng Thale, just north of Bang Tao, and it's wide enough that the handful of people on it barely register. Sand is soft and kept spotless. There's a small beach restaurant, Sand & Sea, near the hotel, plus food and drink brought out to you where you're sitting. Loungers with an umbrella run around 100 Baht near Aommy restaurant, and an hour's massage goes for 500. None of it is polished, which is rather the point.

Le Phang Beach is a small, quiet and secluded beach in the Choeng Thale area of Phuket, north of the busier Bang Tao Beach. The shoreline is clean and well-kept, with soft sand and a calm, uncrowded atmosphere that feels far from mass tourism. It’s a great spot for peaceful walks and relaxing by the sea. Swimming here can be mixed — at times there are waves and noticeable currents, so it’s better suited for confident swimmers or short dips close to shore. There is a small beach bar with a laid-back vibe, plus sunbeds and umbrellas for rent. This is not a party beach. It’s ideal if you’re looking for privacy, silence and a slow, relaxed seaside mood.
Beautiful and relaxing beach in Phuket. You can choose shaded seating provided by the beach restaurant, and they arrange everything nicely so you can sit right by the beach. Food and drinks are available with beachfront service, which makes the experience very comfortable. The beach is not crowded, peaceful, and the prices are very reasonable for Thai visitors. A great place to relax and enjoy the sea. Highly recommended 🌊☀️
