MAYA BEACH CLUB PHUKET
The service is what people talk about here, and they talk about it by name. Review after review singles out individual staff, which tells you something about how the place is run. That warmth is the reason to come, more than the beach itself.
Daytime is beach beds, food and drinks brought to you, and a slow afternoon in Choeng Thale rather than the noise of Patong. After dark it turns into a dinner venue with DJs, dancers and a fire show, and those evening sittings fill up. The menu is expensive by Thai standards, no getting around it, though the bed fee is usually redeemable against food and drink, so you can work it back if you were planning to eat anyway. Come with a budget in mind and you'll enjoy it far more. One honest warning: jet skis run right alongside the beach beds during the day, and some guests mention a strong petrol smell. If you want silence and clear water, this isn't the spot.

I visited this place in late November, both during the day and at night, and had a really great experience. At night, I was looked after by Elina (Ploy), and during the day by Joseph (Pond), Jesus (Warif), and Omar (Aex). Everyone was super friendly, warm, and welcoming from the start. All the staff were polite, easy to talk to, and made me feel comfortable the whole time. The food and drinks were also delicious and well-prepared, which made the experience even better. Everything felt genuine and relaxed, and I really enjoyed my visits. I would definitely come back again :)

Tips for Visiting Nightlife & Bars
Carry Your Passport or a Copy
Clubs and some bars check IDs strictly, especially in Bangkok's Thonglor, RCA, and Sukhumvit areas. A photo of your passport info page on your phone usually works, but carrying a laminated photocopy is safer.
Know the Closing Times
Legal closing time is 2 AM for most venues, though enforcement varies. In Bangkok's designated entertainment zones (RCA, Silom Soi 2/4, Khao San), some clubs stay open until 4 AM. Islands tend to be more relaxed about hours.
Buy Bucket Drinks Cautiously
Island bucket drinks (mixed spirits in a small bucket) are cheap and fun but notoriously strong and inconsistent. Stick to one, stay hydrated, and never leave your drink unattended at beach parties.
