MAYA BEACH CLUB PHUKET

4.8(4,991 reviews)

Situated along Phuket's quieter northern coastline in Choeng Thale, Maya Beach Club offers a full-day experience that runs from relaxed beachside lounging through to evening dining and entertainment. The venue draws a sociable crowd of tourists and locals looking for atmosphere and ambience away from the more intense party scene of Patong, making it a popular choice for those who want energy without the chaos. Visitors can expect a lively but welcoming environment with beach beds, food and drink service, and regular evening entertainment including fire shows. Staff are frequently praised by name in reviews, with guests highlighting attentive, friendly service as a standout feature. The food menu leans toward the pricier end for Thailand, and the beach bed cost is typically redeemable against food and drinks, so arriving with a reasonable budget in mind is advisable. Good to know: Maya Beach Club functions as both a daytime beach venue and an evening dining and entertainment destination, so the experience shifts noticeably after sundown. Those visiting specifically for the fire show or dinner service should book in advance, as these are popular draws. Jet skis operate nearby during daytime hours, which is worth bearing in mind for those prioritising a quieter beach experience. Checking the club's social media for current event schedules and seasonal hours is recommended before visiting.

Visitor Reviews

I visited this place in late November, both during the day and at night, and had a really great experience. At night, I was looked after by Elina (Ploy), and during the day by Joseph (Pond), Jesus (Warif), and Omar (Aex). Everyone was super friendly, warm, and welcoming from the start. All the staff were polite, easy to talk to, and made me feel comfortable the whole time. The food and drinks were also delicious and well-prepared, which made the experience even better. Everything felt genuine and relaxed, and I really enjoyed my visits. I would definitely come back again :)

I had a fantastic experience at Maya Phuket thanks to the outstanding service and atmosphere created by Jesus, Jose, and Alexander. From the moment I arrived, they were welcoming, attentive, and genuinely made me feel cared for. Their professionalism blended perfectly with a warm and relaxed vibe that elevated the entire visit. The energy they brought added so much to the ambiance and turned a great meal into a memorable experience. Truly exceptional service from an incredible team. I will absolutely be returning.

Maya Beach Club is such a great place to relax and enjoy the vibe. The atmosphere is beautiful, the music is fun, and the overall energy is amazing. Special thanks to Augustin, one of the service staff,he was incredibly professional, friendly, and attentive. His service was excellent, always with a smile and great positive energy. He really knows how to entertain guests and make you feel welcome. Highly recommended for anyone looking for good vibes, great service, and a memorable beach club experience 🌴

Tips for Visiting Nightlife & Bars

Carry Your Passport or a Copy

Clubs and some bars check IDs strictly, especially in Bangkok's Thonglor, RCA, and Sukhumvit areas. A photo of your passport info page on your phone usually works, but carrying a laminated photocopy is safer.

Know the Closing Times

Legal closing time is 2 AM for most venues, though enforcement varies. In Bangkok's designated entertainment zones (RCA, Silom Soi 2/4, Khao San), some clubs stay open until 4 AM. Islands tend to be more relaxed about hours.

Buy Bucket Drinks Cautiously

Island bucket drinks (mixed spirits in a small bucket) are cheap and fun but notoriously strong and inconsistent. Stick to one, stay hydrated, and never leave your drink unattended at beach parties.
