Banyan Tree Spa
Nestled in the Cherngtalay area of Thalang, Banyan Tree Spa is part of the renowned Banyan Tree Phuket resort and offers a full-service luxury wellness experience encompassing massage therapy, facial treatments, and personalised spa journeys. The spa draws on skilled, professional therapists and a carefully curated menu of treatments designed to cater to both individuals and couples seeking a high-quality wellness escape. Guests can expect a polished, serene atmosphere from the moment they arrive, with visitors noting a warm welcome that typically includes a refreshing drink and snack upon arrival. The front desk team is attentive in helping guests select the most suitable treatment for their needs, and therapists are consistently praised for their professionalism and skill. The facility's ambient setting, quality products, and attention to detail contribute to an experience that feels genuinely considered rather than transactional — a rarity even among upscale spas. Practically speaking, the spa is open seven days a week from 10:00 to 19:00, making it accessible throughout the week without the need to work around restricted schedules. Given the spa's reputation and resort setting, booking in advance is strongly recommended, particularly during Phuket's peak tourist season between November and April. The address on Srisoonthorn Road places it conveniently close to the Laguna Phuket resort complex, making it easily reachable for visitors staying in the Bang Tao and Cherngtalay area. Pricing reflects the luxury tier of the experience, so budget-conscious travellers should review the treatment menu on the official website before visiting.

Visitor Reviews
I recently went to Banyan Tree Spa Phuket with my husband, and wow, it was honestly the best spa experience I’ve ever had! From the moment I walked in, I felt like they really cared about making every little detail perfect. The staff were super friendly i mean a therapists but receptionist can be better about welcoming a customer but still made me feel so relaxed and taken care of. One thing that really stood out was when they put something warm under my back as I turned over—it was such a nice surprise! That small touch made the whole experience even more cozy and special. If you’re looking for a spa where they go above and beyond to make you feel pampered, this is the place. I can’t wait to go back!
What a luxurious experience! We were welcomed at the beginning with a refreshing drink and snack and the front desk lady was very helpful in recommending the most suitable session for me as I mentioned my arms were sunburnt. Each massage room is its own villa and very private. The masseuse was very professional and I was put at ease from the very beginning to the end. At the end of the session we are given yogurt, fruits and tea to relax before we are taken back to the front desk. Tips are not mandatory but if your masseuse is good, they recommend 10% of the package price.
Thank you Khun Nam and Aui for your friendliness and take such good care of me and mum. All standard of quality experience where followed. All the product, place and ambient was wonderful. Totally worth it and highly recommended!

Tips for Visiting Wellness & Spas
Learn Wat Pho First
Wat Pho in Bangkok is the birthplace of traditional Thai massage education. Their on-site massage pavilion offers excellent treatments from students and graduates at reasonable prices — and you know the technique is authentic.
Communicate Pressure Preferences
Thai massage can be intense. Say 'bao bao' for lighter pressure or 'nак nак' for harder. A good therapist will check in, but don't hesitate to speak up — suffering in silence defeats the purpose.
Book Longer Sessions
A 60-minute massage is fine, but 90 or 120 minutes allows the therapist to work thoroughly. The price difference is often only 200–400 THB for an extra hour — worth it for a deeper, more relaxing experience.
