Patong Mountain View Zipline

5.0(1,491 reviews)

Ziplining is the reason to come here, and the mountain terrain above Kathu is what makes it worth the trip inland. You're up in the tree canopy with the hills opening out around you, which is about as far from another afternoon on Patong beach as you can get while still being twenty minutes from it. Most people pair the ziplines with ATV or quad biking as a combo, and from what reviewers describe, that's the version to book if you've got the time.

Guides get named individually in reviews again and again, usually for two things: keeping the safety side tight, and taking decent photos while they're at it. Kids do well here. Several parents mention having to drag them away. There's a terrace café at the end with the same view, which is a better place to sit than you'd expect from an adventure park.

What an incredible day at Paring Mountain View! My friends and I booked the combo zip line and quad biking package, and it exceeded every expectation. From start to finish, this was pure adrenaline and breathtaking scenery rolled into one unforgettable experience. The zip line course was phenomenal - soaring through the treetops with panoramic mountain views that literally took my breath away. The guides were professional, safety-focused, and kept the energy high with their enthusiasm. Each platform offered a different perspective of the stunning landscape, and the longest line felt like flying through paradise. The harnesses were comfortable and the equipment felt top-notch throughout. The quad biking adventure was equally spectacular. The trails wound through diverse terrain - from forest paths to rocky mountain tracks that challenged our skills while keeping safety as the priority. Our guide knew all the best photo spots and made sure everyone felt confident on their bikes. The mud, the laughs, the stunning vistas - everything about it was perfect. The staff went above and beyond to make our group feel welcome. They provided clear instructions, helped with photos, and their genuine passion for adventure tourism really showed. The facilities were clean, well-maintained, and the booking process was seamless. If you’re looking for an adventure that combines heart-pounding thrills with natural beauty, Paring Mountain View delivers in every way possible. We’re already planning our next visit!

Tips for Visiting Activities & Tours

Vet Elephant Sanctuaries

Only visit sanctuaries that prohibit riding, use no chains or bullhooks, and let elephants roam freely. Elephant Nature Park in Chiang Mai set the standard. If a place offers painting shows or circus tricks, walk away.

Book Popular Activities Online

Booking platforms like GetYourGuide give you instant confirmation and, on many activities, free cancellation — and you can read recent reviews before committing. Compare with local agencies for multi-day trips where negotiation might save more.

Do Outdoor Activities in the Morning

Heat and humidity peak from noon to 3 PM. Schedule jungle treks, cycling tours, and outdoor cooking classes for early morning. Water activities are more flexible since you're in and out of the sea.
