Climb past the first two lookouts and keep going. That's the whole trick here. Most people stop lower down, snap the twin bays and turn back, which means the top platform tends to be the calmest of the three, with the same view of turquoise water, limestone cliffs and the islands running off to the horizon.
The way up is steps and uneven ground, and it's steep enough that you'll feel it. You don't need to be an athlete, but you do need decent shoes and more water than you think. In the heat and humidity, this is not a flip-flops walk. Photographers get the best of it, since the elevation gives you a clean line over the sandbar and the boats, with nothing in the way.
I'd pair it with a lazy beach afternoon rather than trying to cram it between boat trips. It deserves half an hour at the top, not five minutes.
