Atv krabi gaoxing tour

4.7(101 reviews)

Located in Ao Nang, this ATV tour operator takes riders through the jungle terrain surrounding Krabi on guided off-road adventures. Sessions are available in 30-minute and 1-hour durations, making it accessible for both those wanting a quick taste of off-road riding and those looking for a more extended experience. Guides are consistently praised for their attentiveness, patience with first-timers, and willingness to stop along the route to take photos and videos for guests.

The routes cover rough, uneven terrain that suits riders looking for a genuine off-road challenge rather than a polished resort-style circuit. A viewpoint is included on the tour, and guides assist whenever riders encounter difficulty on the track. Reviews suggest the experience is particularly well-suited to first-time ATV riders, with guides providing clear instruction and support throughout. That said, riders seeking a highly scenic or varied landscape may find the route less visually dramatic than expected.

Tours run every day of the week from 08:30 to 17:00, giving plenty of flexibility to fit it into a day around Ao Nang. Prospective visitors should note that communication prior to booking can be inconsistent, so confirming details directly through their Facebook page in advance is advisable. Wearing clothes that can get dirty is practical, as the terrain is dusty and muddy depending on conditions. Closed-toe shoes are strongly recommended for riding safety.

Not only was this experience INSANELY FUN, IT RESTORED MY FAITH IN HUMANITY!!! During my 1h of insanely addicting and exhilarating driving, I dropped a small remote. Even though it doesn’t look like it would be that expensive or important, the employees took it extremely seriously and everyone started looking. When it wasn’t found, they said they’d keep looking for it when I didn’t even ask them to! They were literally DIGGING through the MUD for it 😭😭 and found it! On top of that, the employee offered to deliver it to me at no extra charge. I’ve scarcely seen a person go so far for a stranger for no reciprocal gain. In addition, the employees were so considerate the whole time, always wanting to help; for example I gave the driver the wrong address and asked him to divert to somewhere outside the pick up zone and he did. Through this experience, I witnessed such genuine human connection that is priceless to me. The way the employees always sought to help us transcended an employee/customer relationship; I can tell they did not see us as customers at all and instead as fellow humans. I cannot recommend this experience more.

I was a bit sceptical about this your tour to start with - but I came away very pleased that I went on it. The guides were fantastic. The communication before hand could be better but the tour itself was great. Well worth the money.

This place is not for the weak. My husband really wanted to go on an atv tour since we had a good time doing one in koh phangan. The route was very rough but boring at the same time. The view point was disappointing. We got stuck a lot as the terrain is very bumpy with rocks, tree roots and mud. We went in short circles that had extreme ups and downs that were hard to navigate We paid for an hour but asked to go back after half because it was too much. I feel like maybe some can enjoy this but would not recommend for families with children or people who are weak.

Tips for Visiting Activities & Tours

Vet Elephant Sanctuaries

Only visit sanctuaries that prohibit riding, use no chains or bullhooks, and let elephants roam freely. Elephant Nature Park in Chiang Mai set the standard. If a place offers painting shows or circus tricks, walk away.

Book Popular Activities Online

Booking platforms like GetYourGuide give you instant confirmation and, on many activities, free cancellation — and you can read recent reviews before committing. Compare with local agencies for multi-day trips where negotiation might save more.

Do Outdoor Activities in the Morning

Heat and humidity peak from noon to 3 PM. Schedule jungle treks, cycling tours, and outdoor cooking classes for early morning. Water activities are more flexible since you're in and out of the sea.
