Superpro Samui

Superpro Samui is Koh Samui's biggest training camp, a modern multi-discipline gym near Chaweng that runs Muay Thai, MMA, BJJ, boxing and fitness classes through the day on one large campus. It is built for the training-holiday crowd: classes are levelled, walk-ins are normal, the coaching team mixes Thai stadium veterans with international MMA and grappling coaches, and the timetable is dense enough that a guest can train once a day around a beach holiday or go full fight-camp with two or three sessions. Accommodation packages with rooms at or near the gym keep the logistics to a single booking. The location is the selling point over the mainland camps: Chaweng's beach, restaurants and nightlife are minutes away, so a couple or group with one person training and others holidaying both get what they came for. Serious trainers still get real work — the gym corners students on local fight cards, and pad rounds with the Thai trainers are proper stadium-style rounds. Good to know: single classes, class packs and weekly or monthly training-plus-room packages are all bookable directly; packages are worth reserving ahead for the December–March high season. The gym sits on the ring road, a short scooter or songthaew hop from Chaweng beach. If you build up to a fight, Samui's Phetchbuncha stadium is where the gym's students usually debut.
