Surfspot Huahin
Surfspot Huahin is a well-established water sports centre on the Hua Hin coastline, catering primarily to kitesurfers of all skill levels. The facility is notably well-equipped, offering secure equipment storage for members, rental gear, and on-site coaching from experienced instructors. Visitors consistently highlight the quality of the teaching staff, with coaches praised for their patience and ability to help beginners progress quickly through the fundamentals of kitesurfing. Beyond the water, the centre offers a gym, a pool, and a terrace overlooking the beach, making it a comfortable base even on low-wind days. The atmosphere is welcoming and social, drawing both dedicated kitesurfers and those simply looking to try something new. Equipment repair services are also available on-site, which is a practical bonus for those travelling with their own gear. Good to know: the centre operates seven days a week from 10:00 to 17:00, closing on Wednesdays only. Those planning to store equipment or train regularly may want to look into membership options, which appear to offer added convenience. Checking wind forecasts before planning a session is advisable, as conditions in Hua Hin can vary — the Gulf of Thailand coast tends to see more reliable wind between November and February. The website at surfspotthailand.com is worth visiting for up-to-date information on lessons and availability.

Visitor Reviews
A really nice place to go. Last December i started kitesurfing. My teacher Dew is really patient. All the staff is very friendly and helpful. Even when there is not enough wind it is fun to be there with other people that share the same interest. I just took the one year full membership now so I can use the gym and pool during off season.
The surf spot is well-equipped with secure storage for kiteboarding equipment and rental options. It also features a gym, a pool, and a terrace overlooking the beach. The staff is friendly and supportive, providing assistance with kite launching and landing, as well as offering excellent lessons. I highly recommend surfspot in Hua Hin.
Really a fantastic place to do kite surfing. Great people and storage for kites. I spent 4 days improving my skills with Dew who’s a fantastic coach at the centre. Definitely worth a visit and they also have a cafe for food and drinks. See you again guys

Tips for Visiting Activities & Tours
Vet Elephant Sanctuaries
Only visit sanctuaries that prohibit riding, use no chains or bullhooks, and let elephants roam freely. Elephant Nature Park in Chiang Mai set the standard. If a place offers painting shows or circus tricks, walk away.
Book Through Klook or GetYourGuide
These platforms offer instant confirmation, free cancellation on most activities, and prices that are often lower than walk-up rates. Compare with local agencies for multi-day trips where negotiation might save more.
Do Outdoor Activities in the Morning
Heat and humidity peak from noon to 3 PM. Schedule jungle treks, cycling tours, and outdoor cooking classes for early morning. Water activities are more flexible since you're in and out of the sea.
