Kynd Massage : Phuket Old Town, Phangnga Road
Situated on Phangnga Road in the heart of Phuket Old Town, this spa offers traditional Thai massage and specialty treatments in a well-maintained, tranquil setting away from the island's busier resort corridors. The combination of its culturally rich surroundings and focused approach to wellness makes it a natural fit for travellers who want an authentic experience rather than a tourist-oriented one. Visitors consistently highlight the professionalism and quiet attentiveness of the staff — practitioners do not talk to one another during sessions, a detail that contributes meaningfully to the overall calm. The space features individual rooms with comfortable beds and a clean, considered atmosphere. Treatments on offer include traditional Thai massage, foot massage with herbal compress ball, and sports massage, catering to a range of preferences and needs. The sense of genuine care from the team, from the welcome through to the treatment itself, is a recurring theme in visitor feedback. Good to know: Phuket Old Town is generally more relaxed and easier to navigate than beachfront areas, with more accessible parking and a slower pace that rewards arriving early to explore the neighbourhood's Sino-Portuguese architecture and street food before or after a session. As specific opening hours are not confirmed, it is worth contacting the venue in advance to check availability, particularly during peak season. Bringing cash is advisable, as smaller independent spas in this area do not always accept card payments.

Visitor Reviews
I had an amazing massage at this salon and I can truly say it exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed with such warmth and kindness. The entire team is incredibly friendly, professional and attentive. The atmosphere is beautifully calm and relaxing – you immediately feel at ease and can fully let go of stress and tension. The massage itself was absolutely perfect: very professional, deeply relaxing and exactly what my body needed. You can really feel that they work with heart, care and true expertise. I left feeling refreshed, balanced and deeply grateful. Highly recommended – I will definitely come back again and again!
I fully agree with all positive reviews The quality of the Thai massage was great, additionally the studio is well maintained and the masseurs are respectful and don’t talk to each other during the sessions Before the message you get the pleasant foot scrub. Would come again ❤️
Fantastic, relaxing Thai massage. Everything looks nice and clean. The masseuse took care even of the ears. I also liken when she held my foot and was "walking" on the inside of my tighs. I opted out of back cracking.
Tips for Visiting Wellness & Spas
Learn Wat Pho First
Wat Pho in Bangkok is the birthplace of traditional Thai massage education. Their on-site massage pavilion offers excellent treatments from students and graduates at reasonable prices — and you know the technique is authentic.
Communicate Pressure Preferences
Thai massage can be intense. Say 'bao bao' for lighter pressure or 'nак nак' for harder. A good therapist will check in, but don't hesitate to speak up — suffering in silence defeats the purpose.
Book Longer Sessions
A 60-minute massage is fine, but 90 or 120 minutes allows the therapist to work thoroughly. The price difference is often only 200–400 THB for an extra hour — worth it for a deeper, more relaxing experience.
