Little Phuket
Located in the Talat Yai area of Mueang Phuket District, Little Phuket draws a reliable mix of locals and international visitors with a broad menu that stretches from Thai staples to more eclectic options. Dishes that appear regularly in visitor accounts include Pad Thai, pineapple rice, Thai curry, satay, fried lobster, and garlic cheese toast, pointing to a kitchen that aims to accommodate groups with varied tastes travelling together. The setting is casual and relaxed, with both air-conditioned indoor seating and outdoor tables available. Most visitors choose to sit outside, even at lunchtime. Service receives consistent praise, with staff noted for making helpful recommendations on both food and drinks. The venue is openly tourist-friendly, meaning menus and communication are generally accessible to international visitors, though more specific or off-menu requests may not always land without some patience. Good to know: Little Phuket opens daily at noon and stays open until 00:30 most nights, extending to 01:00 on Sundays, making it a practical option for late diners or those wrapping up an evening elsewhere in Phuket. Visiting during the quieter mid-afternoon window, roughly between 2:00 and 5:00 PM, is worth considering for a more relaxed meal. Visitor Reviews
Overall a great restaurant and would visit again. We loved our main dishes (Cesar salad with chicken added and Thai curry with chicken). The garlic cheese toast was crunch and tasty. The staff was extremely friendly, service was fast, and the prices were reasonable. They spoke good English. Sadly, the mango sticky rice sucked when we visited. Can’t say it’s always like that, but the rice was not sweet nor salty and a little bitter. And the provided coconut cream sauce had no flavor nor sweetness. It was strange. Overall, we were happy with our visit and would recommend. Based on the deliciousness of our main dishes, I assume the mango sticky rice was a fluke. Our total price was 800 baht. They have a 3% added fee if you pay with visa.
Absolutely fantastic food, the whole family loved every bite of the delicious food they served us. During our short trip we tried them twice, and on both occasions the food was excellent. The only negative was a steak that I ordered, where the meat was too chewy, but they happily returned it. On this point, I have also tried steaks 2 other places, and came to the conclusion that the meat in the country is not good, better opt for imported meats. The food was so amazing that we reordered 3 more dishes. We also tried several other traditional Thai restaurants, including one that was featured on the Michelin guide that was not up to this level. Highly recommended,
Definitely a tourist place. Air conditioning inside but we sat outside even at lunchtime. The waitress did not understand my request for Sangsom (it wasn't on the menu) so went inside where staff behind the counter did understand. I ordered papaya and shrimp salad which was very good. Hubby ordered of the "quick eats" section so we surprised the mine came 10 minutes before his. Thai pork and rice was also good. Both were served spicy as requested. They charge 3% for use of a card. With one shot of Samsong, one diet coke and a large beer the bill came to 600 tb.

Tips for Visiting Restaurants & Food
Learn the Spice Scale
Say 'mai pet' for no spice, 'pet nit noi' for a little spice, or 'pet mak' if you want it Thai-hot. Most cooks will default to a toned-down version for foreigners unless you specify otherwise.
Follow the Crowds
The busiest street stalls are almost always the best — high turnover means fresh ingredients and a recipe that locals vouch for. An empty restaurant at dinner time is a red flag.
Ice Is Safe
Factory-made tube or cylinder ice (used in virtually all restaurants and stalls) is made from purified water and is safe to consume. You don't need to skip the iced Thai tea.
