Marina Yoga
Nestled in the hills of Ao Nang, this yoga studio and wellness centre draws visitors seeking both regular classes and immersive retreat experiences. Set among trees in a peaceful hillside environment, Marina Yoga offers a varied programme that goes beyond standard yoga instruction to include alternative healing modalities such as shamanic healing sessions, making it a distinctive option in Krabi's wellness scene. Guests on multi-day retreats describe a communal, home-like atmosphere where the variety of yoga styles keeps each session feeling distinct and purposeful. The studio appears well suited to beginners and older practitioners, with first-timers reporting positive experiences alongside seasoned yogis. The healing offerings draw particular praise for their calm, authentic atmosphere. As with any retreat-style setting, experiences can vary depending on expectations around energy, pacing, and value, so prospective visitors are encouraged to research the specific programme format before booking. Practically speaking, Marina Yoga is located on Ao Nang Soi 1, making it reasonably accessible from the main Ao Nang strip. As pricing is not listed online, contacting the studio directly before arrival is advisable, particularly for those interested in multi-day retreats, which typically require advance booking and may have limited availability depending on group size and scheduling.

Reviews from Google
I stayed here for 6D/5N for a yoga retreat. The booking process was smooth and Margriet replied quickly and she helped me arrange my arrival. I had my own room and it was nice and clean. Breakfast was provided every morning and it had a generous serving of fruits and my egg on rye bread was always delicious. The yoga classes were meaningful with breathing awareness, well-cued poses, and dedicated meditation time. When it was time to go, I felt like I wanted to stay for a few more weeks and continue the inner work. The pool was nice, especially on hot days. All instructors and staff were welcoming and friendly. I felt like I had so much time to be with myself and that was exactly what I wanted.
Just left this amazing place after a retreat with yoga and healing. Had a lovely time, met wonderful people and felt like a home away from home. Variety of yoga classes and healing, enjoyed everything I got and felt authentic and warm-hearted. Location is a little outside of Ao Nang, and quiet at night. If you want more action it’s available 5-10 mins away. Looking forward to coming back already 🩷
I had the chance to experience a shamanic healing session at Marina Yoga in Thailand, and it was absolutely incredible. From the moment I arrived, I felt a warm, authentic, and deeply calming atmosphere. Marina is truly intuitive, kind, and carries a powerful, healing energy. The session was intense, meaningful, and deeply liberating. I walked away feeling aligned, grounded, and with a sense of inner clarity I hadn’t felt in a long time. I’m already planning to return and join the Reiki classes, as I know there’s so much more to explore and learn here. If you’re looking for a deep, spiritual, and respectful healing experience, I recommend Marina Yoga enough. Thank you for this unique and transformative moment 🙏✨. Lira,

Tips for Visiting Wellness & Spas
Learn Wat Pho First
Wat Pho in Bangkok is the birthplace of traditional Thai massage education. Their on-site massage pavilion offers excellent treatments from students and graduates at reasonable prices — and you know the technique is authentic.
Communicate Pressure Preferences
Thai massage can be intense. Say 'bao bao' for lighter pressure or 'nак nак' for harder. A good therapist will check in, but don't hesitate to speak up — suffering in silence defeats the purpose.
Book Longer Sessions
A 60-minute massage is fine, but 90 or 120 minutes allows the therapist to work thoroughly. The price difference is often only 200–400 THB for an extra hour — worth it for a deeper, more relaxing experience.
