Amadha Villas Retreat
Tucked along a soi in Ao Nang, Amadha Villas Retreat offers villa-style accommodation set among palm trees, providing a noticeably calmer atmosphere than the main resort strip. The property suits travellers who prefer more space and privacy than a standard hotel room — particularly families, couples, or small groups looking to decompress after days spent island-hopping, rock climbing, or exploring Krabi's coastline. The surrounding greenery gives the grounds a relaxed, semi-secluded feel. Visitor experiences at Amadha are genuinely mixed, which is worth factoring into expectations. Guests who arrive by scooter or with their own transport tend to rate the stay highly, appreciating the peaceful setting and clean, comfortable rooms. Those relying on the property's shuttle service or expecting resort-level facilities and cleanliness have reported inconsistencies, with some finding the location inconvenient without independent transport and standards falling short on occasion. The property itself sits closer to a quiet villa complex than a full-service resort in terms of amenities. Good to know: The property is roughly 5 to 10 minutes from Ao Nang Beach and the main dining and activity area, making personal transport — particularly a scooter rental — a practical advantage during a stay here. Krabi Airport is approximately 40 kilometres away, accessible by taxi or minibus. The dry season runs from November to April, which is the most reliable period for beach and water activities. Book well in advance if travelling between December and February, when Krabi sees its highest visitor numbers.

Visitor Reviews
If you’re renting a scooter like we did, this place is honestly perfect. It’s tucked away from the busy city center, which made it feel calm and relaxing, but at the same time it was only about 5–10 minutes from all the fun spots and main attractions. We loved having that balance. What really stood out to me was the service. The staff were genuinely friendly and always helpful. When the AC in our room stopped working, they fixed it right away without any issues, which I really appreciated. I’d personally highly recommend staying here whether you’re traveling with family or just need a peaceful place to recharge. The combination of great service, kind staff, and a relaxing location made our stay feel easy and comfortable.
stayed here for 6 nights and had a really good experience overall. the room was very clean and comfortable. the area was also quiet and peaceful, which made it easy to rest after long days out. the staffs were very friendly and super helpful, especially with booking trips and activities, and they also gave a lot of useful tips around krabi which we really appreciated. the only thing i feel could be improved are the amenities, considering it’s a 4 star hotel. other than that, i was very satisfied with my stay and would recommend this place.
The room was not so clean i found ants on the bed and hair in the bath room. The location is pretty far from the center. They offer a free Transport Service three times a day. However i often had to go for a bolt/grab which is sometimes hard to get as apparently many drivers don't want to do that Route. If possible i would recommend a location that is more close to the center as the constant taxi rides quickly add up. I wanted to rent a scooter but they insisted on my passport as a deposit (which only shady rental places do), so i declined and rented some where else.
