Beach Yoga — Ao Nang
Nestled along the shores of Ao Nang in Krabi, this outdoor yoga experience offers classes directly on the beach, pairing mindful movement with some of the most scenic coastal views in southern Thailand. The setting alone — golden hour light, ocean air, and the natural backdrop of Krabi's limestone cliffs — makes each session distinctive. Instructors Den and Tanny are frequently praised by visitors for their professionalism, attentiveness, and ability to adapt poses to individual needs, whether participants are seasoned practitioners or returning to yoga after a long break. Classes run at both sunrise and sunset, giving visitors flexibility depending on their schedule and preference. Group sessions carry an inclusive, welcoming energy, and solo sessions have also been noted — meaning travellers are unlikely to feel lost in a crowd. Instructors take time to offer personal corrections and adjustments, which reviewers highlight as a meaningful part of the experience. Multi-day courses, such as two-day packages, are available for those who want to deepen their practice over consecutive sessions. As no website or advance booking information is publicly listed, travellers are advised to make enquiries directly on arrival in Ao Nang or ask at their accommodation for guidance on scheduling. The venue is located at 132 Tambon Ao Nang, Amphoe Mueang Krabi. Light, breathable clothing suitable for outdoor movement is recommended, and arriving a few minutes early allows time to settle into the beach environment before class begins.

Visitor Reviews
I recently attended a two-day sunset yoga course, and it was truly an amazing experience. Den is an outstanding instructor — not only highly professional and knowledgeable, but also incredibly supportive and encouraging. Throughout the course, Den created such a positive and uplifting atmosphere. He provided so much emotional support and genuine encouragement that I felt completely comfortable and confident. His guidance gave me a huge boost in confidence, both in my practice and in myself. I’m very grateful for this experience and would highly recommend this course to anyone looking to grow in their yoga journey. Thank you, Den, for such an inspiring two days!
Absolutely incredible you must go if you’re into yoga and in Krabi!! Even a beginner could take and enjoy class - the instructor Tanny has wonderful energy and gives excellent guidance. She is a light and the beautiful setting helps too! I would do this every day if I could. And best flying pigeon I’ve ever done, with her guidance!
Wonderful sunrise yoga session with Tanny - I was the only participant! Tanny is an absolute delight- and how wonderful to practice on the beach! I agree with all the other 5 star reviews- this is a must do while in Krabi!!! Your body and mind will thank you!
Tips for Visiting Wellness & Spas
Learn Wat Pho First
Wat Pho in Bangkok is the birthplace of traditional Thai massage education. Their on-site massage pavilion offers excellent treatments from students and graduates at reasonable prices — and you know the technique is authentic.
Communicate Pressure Preferences
Thai massage can be intense. Say 'bao bao' for lighter pressure or 'nак nак' for harder. A good therapist will check in, but don't hesitate to speak up — suffering in silence defeats the purpose.
Book Longer Sessions
A 60-minute massage is fine, but 90 or 120 minutes allows the therapist to work thoroughly. The price difference is often only 200–400 THB for an extra hour — worth it for a deeper, more relaxing experience.
