Bamboo is two places depending on the hour. By day it's a beachfront bar in Ao Nang with loungers on the sand, a pool, beach volleyball, morning yoga and breakfast, and families fit in fine. After sunset the DJ takes over, the fire shows start and it tips into one of Ao Nang's busiest party spots. It's open every day from 08:00 to 02:00, right next to REEVE Beach Club.

The club lists no entry charge for an ordinary day, so you pay for what you eat and drink. Bottle packages with a table run from ฿3,900 for three people to ฿5,900 for six. On its Afterhours and full-moon party nights, entry is ticketed from ฿499 with a welcome drink, from 23:00.

Drinks are the strength here, and staff get named in reviews for good reason. Food is where opinion splits, with some people rating the quesadillas and pasta and others finding dishes short on flavor for the price, so I'd treat it as a drinking and swimming spot that happens to serve lunch.
