Full Moon Bar and Restaurant
Full Moon Bar and Restaurant has built a strong following among Ao Nang's nightlife crowd, largely thanks to its resident live band, Black Inner. The group performs regularly, drawing visitors back night after night with rock classics and a high-energy stage presence — the frontman Jimmy is frequently called out by name in reviews for his crowd engagement and vocal performances. It is one of the more distinct evening venues in the area, offering something beyond the typical beach bar experience.
Guests can expect a social, high-energy atmosphere with a full bar menu and food service. The beachfront setting adds appeal during the earlier evening hours, and the combination of dining and live music means there is little reason to move on once settled in. The music is loud by design, so this suits those looking for an animated night out rather than a quiet dinner.

Reviews from Google
We loved the full moon bar in AO Nang, the resident band was black inner and they were incredible, lots of personality and great performers! Especially the front man Jimmy, he was good at getting into the crowd and interacting. The drinks offerings were lovely, I highly recommend the banana daiquiri and the zombie, there are a lot of bars offering 99baht cocktails along the “strip” but they’re super sweet and not worth it - the cocktails in the full moon bar are delicious and great quality for the price.
This is a great live music bar with an amazing atmosphere. The live band was fantastic and really set the mood for the night. The drinks were delicious and well prepared. Overall, it’s a perfect place to relax, enjoy good music, and have a great time with friends. I would definitely come back again!
Loved the atmosphere and vibes. They have live music. Food is good and service is fast. Music is loud and if you want a quiet place this is not for you. Drinks , they have good selection. Reasonably priced.

Tips for Visiting Nightlife & Bars
Carry Your Passport or a Copy
Clubs and some bars check IDs strictly, especially in Bangkok's Thonglor, RCA, and Sukhumvit areas. A photo of your passport info page on your phone usually works, but carrying a laminated photocopy is safer.
Know the Closing Times
Legal closing time is 2 AM for most venues, though enforcement varies. In Bangkok's designated entertainment zones (RCA, Silom Soi 2/4, Khao San), some clubs stay open until 4 AM. Islands tend to be more relaxed about hours.
Buy Bucket Drinks Cautiously
Island bucket drinks (mixed spirits in a small bucket) are cheap and fun but notoriously strong and inconsistent. Stick to one, stay hydrated, and never leave your drink unattended at beach parties.
