BUSKET HOSTEL
Busket Hostel sits in the heart of Chiang Rai's Wiang district, placing guests within walking distance of the city's main bus station, night market, and several temples. Its central position makes it a practical base for exploring northern Thailand without relying on taxis or rented transport, though scooter rentals are available on-site for those wanting to venture further afield. Guests consistently highlight the hostel's cleanliness as a standout feature, with dedicated cleaning staff maintaining bathrooms and common areas throughout the day. Dormitory rooms — including female-only options — are noted for being more spacious than expected, with stable bunk beds and keycard security on both the front door and individual rooms. A free snack bar and affordable on-site washing machine add practical value, and the property operates around the clock, accommodating late arrivals without issue. Good to know: Chiang Rai's peak travel season runs from November to February, when cooler temperatures and dry weather attract the most visitors. Booking in advance during this period is advisable, particularly for female-only dorms. The hostel's proximity to the bus station makes it especially convenient for travellers arriving from Chiang Mai or continuing north toward the Golden Triangle.

Visitor Reviews
First shout out is how clean this place is. The cleaning lady is at it from 8 to 5, doing the shower and bathroom 2-3 times a day ensuring garbages are empty and everything clean. Amazing location, and above that amazing staff. So helpful and really helped me plan to visit the highlights without pushing a tour down my throat. It saved me so much money and time 🥹 The only downside is the bed in the bunks are really hard. However the beds in the double room are great, it was worth paying a little extra for me to have a comfier bed. Elliptical and roof top are definitely a plus. Thank you to the two ladies working in March 2025, you made my trip!❤️
I was able to stay here at Busket Hostel for one week. It has excellent location in Chiang Rai. I was able to walk across the street from and to the bus station. I was able to walk to many temples and use Grab for the further ones. Lots of restaurant options close by. I also liked how close the markets are. I went and picked up fresh fruit. Also, a gym is within 5 minutes walking. The hostel itself is very clean. I liked the rooftop. A laundry machine is available for guest. Free Wifi. All the staff was very friendly. I had a wonderful time at this hostel.
Great rooms, good location, you can also come late. You can rent scooters here. Free snack bar. Very safe with a key card lock at front door and room (if you care about that)
