PLEARN RESTAURANT
Plearn Restaurant and Lounge occupies a spot in Phuket's Ratsada neighbourhood, drawing both visitors on wellness retreats and travellers seeking a serious sit-down meal away from the tourist-heavy areas. The kitchen takes a regional approach, with dishes drawing from the four culinary traditions of Thailand — a structure that gives repeat visitors plenty of reason to return. Reviewers consistently highlight the quality of ingredients, the creativity of flavour combinations, and the care taken in presentation, with several noting that the food stayed with them well after the meal. The venue operates as both a restaurant and lounge, suggesting a relaxed pace that suits leisurely dining as much as it does an extended evening. The setting reportedly offers photogenic views, and standout service from individual staff members has been called out by name in visitor feedback — a sign of attentive, personalised hospitality. A small note of caution: at least one reviewer experienced difficulty with English-language communication during ordering, which is worth keeping in mind if clear menu explanation is important to your experience. Good to know: Plearn is located within or adjacent to a hotel property on a soi off Chalermprakiat Ratchakan Thi 9 Road, so using a maps application with the full address is advisable to avoid confusion. The restaurant opens at 7:00 AM and closes at 11:00 PM every day of the week, making it one of the more flexible dining options in the area for early risers and late diners alike. Checking the Facebook page listed on the venue's profile before visiting is recommended for current menu information.

Visitor Reviews
I’m here for my yoga retreat, and one of the big reasons I came back to this place for the third time is the food at Plearn Restaurant. Every meal is a beautifully presented three-course set, prepared with so much thought and detail. The dishes taste amazing, and the drink options — from healthy smoothies to cocktails — are always refreshing with no repeats throughout my stay. The hilltop view from the restaurant is calming and peaceful, and the classy interior makes every meal feel special. Truly one of my favourite places. Staff here is very attentive as well. Love this place so much! ✨🥗🍹
I had my first meal here three days ago and I’m still thinking about it! Every dish here (and there are lots to choose from) is outstanding; the ingredients are elevated with surprising combinations of flavors and textures. Presentation is excellent, each dish, thoughtfully, composed . The service is friendly and provisional. I’ve been a solo traveler and diner here, but this is a perfect date night with a beautiful view of the lights of the city and just last night and the magnificent moon. Thank you Plearn for the unforgettable dining experience.
The food, flavour and presentation was incredibly delicious. Very well priced so you can easily try a few things. Dishes are based on the 4 regions of Thailand, taking you on a culinary delight throughout the country. Thae, our host, provided us with impeccable service, very warm, welcoming and attentive. And the view, absolutely stunning, what a lovely experience, we will be back again! Highly recommend.

Learn the Spice Scale
Say 'mai pet' for no spice, 'pet nit noi' for a little spice, or 'pet mak' if you want it Thai-hot. Most cooks will default to a toned-down version for foreigners unless you specify otherwise.
Follow the Crowds
The busiest street stalls are almost always the best — high turnover means fresh ingredients and a recipe that locals vouch for. An empty restaurant at dinner time is a red flag.
Ice Is Safe
Factory-made tube or cylinder ice (used in virtually all restaurants and stalls) is made from purified water and is safe to consume. You don't need to skip the iced Thai tea.
