RiverTerrace Rooftop Bar & Cafe
Perched on the fifth floor of the Mae Nam Krabi Hotel in Pak Nam, RiverTerrace Rooftop Bar and Cafe offers an open-air setting with unobstructed views over the Krabi River. The relaxed atmosphere draws both travellers and locals looking for a casual spot to eat and drink without the bustle of Krabi Town's main strips. The menu covers a broad range of food, drinks, and snacks, with highlights from visitor reviews including a picanha steak and an egg bacon sandwich. Prices are generally considered reasonable for the setting. The rooftop setup is simply decorated and the staff are frequently praised for being friendly and attentive. Opening hours run from 8am to 10pm every day of the week, making it a practical choice for breakfast through to an evening drink watching the river light change at dusk. One important practical note: there is no elevator, and reaching the rooftop requires climbing five flights of stairs. This makes the venue unsuitable for elderly visitors or those with mobility limitations. It is worth arriving during daylight hours at least once to fully appreciate the river panorama. Visitors can find updates and current information through the venue's Facebook page before heading over.

Visitor Reviews
This is definitely a place to come and eat it however, today was not the best day to eat there as the food was not up to its normal standard that I am used to. All restaurants from time to time are going to have problems. I’ll be back again to update this, but I don’t see any problems in the food in the future as like I said I’ve been here multiple times and the food has always been delicious. Today it was just ok. Not bad but not what I’m used to
Lovely rooftop with a great view and relaxed vibe. The food and drinks were very good and reasonably priced. All the staff were great friendly and helpful. Special thanks to Films, she was really nice and helped me take some lovely photos. Highly recommend! ✨
Great location with an amazing river view. Many choices of food, drinks and snacks. Note : you need to climb up the stairs for the 5th floor, not suitable for elderly !!

Learn the Spice Scale
Say 'mai pet' for no spice, 'pet nit noi' for a little spice, or 'pet mak' if you want it Thai-hot. Most cooks will default to a toned-down version for foreigners unless you specify otherwise.
Follow the Crowds
The busiest street stalls are almost always the best — high turnover means fresh ingredients and a recipe that locals vouch for. An empty restaurant at dinner time is a red flag.
Ice Is Safe
Factory-made tube or cylinder ice (used in virtually all restaurants and stalls) is made from purified water and is safe to consume. You don't need to skip the iced Thai tea.
