AKOYA|Star Lounge
Perched within the V Villas resort on Ao Yon Road in Wichit, this rooftop bar and lounge draws visitors for its striking panoramic views over Phuket and its polished evening atmosphere. Set away from the island's busier tourist corridors, it offers a quieter, more refined alternative for travellers seeking an elegant night out rather than high-energy beachfront scenes. Guests can expect a curated cocktail menu alongside food and dining, with visitors noting beautifully presented dishes and fresh ingredients. The atmosphere leans sophisticated and social, making it a popular choice for date nights or a relaxed evening of drinks with views. As with most venues of this style, experience can vary — some visitors have noted inconsistencies in service and food quality, so managing expectations beyond the visuals is reasonable. Good to know: The venue operates on a 2,000 THB per person minimum spend deposit, which is redeemable against food and drinks — most visitors find this straightforward to use over the course of an evening. Reservations are strongly recommended, and arriving without one may result in a less than welcoming reception at the door. The location on Ao Yon Road is not easily walkable from central Phuket Town or the main tourist beaches, so arranging a taxi or rideshare in advance is practical. Open daily from 5:00 PM to 11:00 PM.

Visitor Reviews
Akoya is an amazing spot with stunning city views that make every moment feel special. The food was absolutely delicious—beautifully presented and full of flavor. I especially loved how fresh everything tasted. The atmosphere was relaxed yet elegant, perfect for a night out. I’ll definitely be coming back!
A fantastic date night place. There’s a deposit of 2000bht per person but that can be used for the food which is more than enough for a satisfying meal. The staff are friendly, food is great and the portion is huge. Recommended to visit and dine during sunset for a spectacular view.
The pictures speak for itself, incredible atmosphere and breathe taking views. Would have loved to try more of their cuisine next time but we came here mainly for drinks.

Tips for Visiting Restaurants & Food
Learn the Spice Scale
Say 'mai pet' for no spice, 'pet nit noi' for a little spice, or 'pet mak' if you want it Thai-hot. Most cooks will default to a toned-down version for foreigners unless you specify otherwise.
Follow the Crowds
The busiest street stalls are almost always the best — high turnover means fresh ingredients and a recipe that locals vouch for. An empty restaurant at dinner time is a red flag.
Ice Is Safe
Factory-made tube or cylinder ice (used in virtually all restaurants and stalls) is made from purified water and is safe to consume. You don't need to skip the iced Thai tea.
