Dinopark petting zoo Pattaya
Located in Pattaya, this compact but well-stocked petting zoo — also known as Wonderland Mini Zoo — offers visitors the chance to get up close with a wide range of animals across three floors of interactive exhibits. What sets it apart from many similar attractions in Thailand is the consistently noted standard of animal welfare, with reviewers frequently remarking that the animals appear well-fed, clean, and genuinely sociable. Highlights include meerkats, and visitors are encouraged to hold and feed many of the animals directly rather than simply observing them from behind barriers. The atmosphere is relaxed and family-friendly, with polite, attentive staff on hand throughout. The experience suits young children particularly well, though adults tend to enjoy it more than they might expect. Admission is paid at the door, with recent visitors reporting a price of around 300 baht per person, making it a reasonably affordable outing by Pattaya standards. Good to know: Opening hours are not publicly listed, so it is worth checking ahead before visiting, particularly when travelling with children. As this is a multi-floor indoor venue, it is accessible regardless of weather, which makes it a practical option on hotter or rainier days. Comfortable, casual clothing is recommended, and visitors should plan to wash their hands thoroughly after handling animals.

Visitor Reviews
Absolutely lovely—our favorite spot in Pattaya for little ones! We visited Wonderland Mini Zoo (Dino Park) twice during our stay because it was just that wonderful! The atmosphere is so friendly, peaceful, and relaxing, and the whole place feels like it was made with families in mind. The animals were adorable and surprisingly friendly—meerkats, a big gentle turtle, lizards, dragons, a raccoon, squirrel, and even small snakes. You can pet and feed many of them, which our kids absolutely loved. The staff are incredibly kind and welcoming—they genuinely just want you to enjoy your time. Even our 2-year-old had a blast playing with the rubber dinosaurs. It’s cozy, clean, and never overwhelming. Super relaxing. We left with big smiles and warm hearts both times. 💛
My favourite place in Pattaya. You can touch and play with each animal. 3 stories full of animals, all if each are well fed, playful and clean. The staff is very polite. You pay only at the door, not like in other zoos where you pay to feed each animal. The price itself is extremely reasonable. Highly recommend.
We LOVED this place so much!! The animals are loved and very well looked after, the staff are great, and you get to hold and feed so many different beautiful and cute creatures. The meerkats are funny little characters and they were my favorite! The entry price is really low for this sort of unique experience.

Tips for Visiting Activities & Tours
Vet Elephant Sanctuaries
Only visit sanctuaries that prohibit riding, use no chains or bullhooks, and let elephants roam freely. Elephant Nature Park in Chiang Mai set the standard. If a place offers painting shows or circus tricks, walk away.
Book Through Klook or GetYourGuide
These platforms offer instant confirmation, free cancellation on most activities, and prices that are often lower than walk-up rates. Compare with local agencies for multi-day trips where negotiation might save more.
Do Outdoor Activities in the Morning
Heat and humidity peak from noon to 3 PM. Schedule jungle treks, cycling tours, and outdoor cooking classes for early morning. Water activities are more flexible since you're in and out of the sea.
