The VIEW Pattaya Restaurant
Perched above rocky cliffs overlooking the sea, The VIEW Pattaya has established itself as one of the city's most distinctive dining destinations. The setting draws frequent comparisons to the Greek islands, with a whitewashed aesthetic, dramatic coastal scenery, and sunset views that consistently impress first-time visitors. Beyond the visuals, the restaurant operates as a full-service venue combining quality food, professional table service, a bar and lounge area, and a swimming pool on site — making it a destination in its own right rather than simply a place to eat. Guests can expect a polished but relaxed atmosphere suited to celebratory dinners, romantic evenings, or leisurely lunches with a view. The kitchen focuses on presentation and quality, and the overall experience — from ambiance to service — reflects the high standards that repeat visitors have come to expect. The venue also caters to events and can accommodate private dining needs through their website at theviewpattaya.com. The VIEW Pattaya is open seven days a week from 11:30 to 22:30, making it accessible for both long lunches and evening meals. Given its popularity for sunset dining, arriving early on weekends — ideally before 18:00 — is advisable to secure a table with the best clifftop views. Reservations can be made through the restaurant's website, and checking ahead for any special event closures or seasonal menus is recommended before visiting.

Visitor Reviews
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The View Restaurant – a place with heart, taste, and one of the most beautiful sunsets This place truly deserves attention. Perched above dramatic rocky cliffs, just a short walk from Oxygen, The View Restaurant offers one of the most breathtaking sunset terraces in Pattaya. Sitting here, you really feel like you’re in the right place at the right time. We started with tartare — salmon, tuna, and beef — all fresh, clean in flavor, and prepared with great respect for the ingredients. It immediately reassured me that I was in good hands and about to enjoy something special. The atmosphere is calm, elegant, and warm — the kind of place where time naturally slows down. Add the sea breeze, the golden light of sunset, and you have a truly memorable experience. Special thanks to Anny, (is from Myanmar)our waitress — professional, kind, smiling, and speaking excellent English. Service like this makes a real difference and completes the whole experience. I also want to mention that the owner of this restaurant is a very good friend of mine. I sincerely wish him success with this beautiful new project. I already know his first restaurant, Donn Pizza, and I’m happy to see his passion and quality continuing here as well. Wishing The View Restaurant all the best — you’ve created something special, and I’ll definitely be back. 🌅🍷 we love it her Monika and Vladko
The View is setting itself as one of Pattaya’s top restaurants. Was expecting it to be good having read the reviews….and that sometimes sets the bar so high there can be disappointment….but not here! The starters blew us away….foie gras was off the scale amazing so luxurious. Massive garlic prawns. Delicious Norwegian salmon. Light and super tasty spring rolls. Then the mains….fantastic, I could go on but I’m sure you get the message. Staff were amazing also, special shout out to Eveon….polite and super efficient. The view…from The View….every bit as good a the reputation they are trading on….but the food lives up to their well deserved reputation also. 10/10

Learn the Spice Scale
Say 'mai pet' for no spice, 'pet nit noi' for a little spice, or 'pet mak' if you want it Thai-hot. Most cooks will default to a toned-down version for foreigners unless you specify otherwise.
Follow the Crowds
The busiest street stalls are almost always the best — high turnover means fresh ingredients and a recipe that locals vouch for. An empty restaurant at dinner time is a red flag.
Ice Is Safe
Factory-made tube or cylinder ice (used in virtually all restaurants and stalls) is made from purified water and is safe to consume. You don't need to skip the iced Thai tea.
