German cooking isn't what most people fly to Bangkok for, which is exactly why this one is worth your evening. Twin brothers Thomas and Mathias Sühring cook a modern German tasting menu built on their family's recipes, in a restored villa on a quiet soi off Yen Akat Road. The MICHELIN Guide Thailand raised it to three stars in its 2026 edition, the highest rating it gives.
There's no à la carte. Diners in December 2025 paid ฿7,800 to ฿9,800 for five to seven courses, with wine pairings from ฿5,800 to ฿9,800, and service charge and VAT are added on top. The villa has indoor and outdoor rooms and few enough tables that you forget the traffic outside. Plan for a long, slow dinner rather than a quick one, and dress up, since the room leans formal.
It's open Wednesday to Sunday for dinner, with the last seating at 19:30, and Thursday to Sunday for lunch from 12:30, last seating 13:00. It's closed on Monday and Tuesday. The restaurant takes bookings up to 60 days ahead and suggests booking at least a month out, through its website, by email or on +66 2 107 2777.
