Bangkok Sky Restaurant 76/78 floor Baiyoke Tower

4.0(423 reviews)$$$$

Perched across the upper floors of Baiyoke Tower — one of Bangkok's tallest buildings — this buffet restaurant draws visitors as much for its panoramic city views as for its food. Diners are seated anywhere from the 76th to the 84th floor, high enough to take in a sweeping 360-degree spread of Bangkok's skyline, the Chao Phraya River, and the urban grid stretching to the horizon. The elevated setting makes it a natural fit for both sightseeing and dining in a single outing. The restaurant operates as a buffet, with a spread that includes Thai dishes, grilled items, seafood, and desserts. Standout mentions from visitors include pad thai, wagyu shabu, and a black broth noodle soup. Quality across the spread is mixed — some dishes are well-regarded while others are more average — and those seated near the windows should note it can get warm. Service is functional for a buffet-style setting. Pricing sits in the mid-range, reasonable given the elevation and the variety on offer. Good to know: Opening hours and reservation details are not listed online, so travellers should contact Baiyoke Tower directly before visiting to confirm session times and current buffet options. The tower sits on Phayathai Road in the Ratchathewi district and is accessible via the ARL Phayathai station or nearby BTS connections. Sunset and evening visits tend to offer the most striking views of the city lights below.

Visitor Reviews

I went here today for a dinner buffet at 78th floor of Baiyoke Sky Hotel. The food is fantastic! There are so many choices of food and desserts to choose from. The crowd was good. The staff are friendly and helpful. One of the staff came by to our table advicing us that we can go to the Sky Deck to view the city especially with a nice sunset view after our dinner. We really appreciate the excellent service given to us. Highly recommended!

My friends and I really enjoyed this dish called “black broth noodle soup” (that’s what I heard it’s called, though I’m not exactly sure how it’s prepared). Regardless, it was truly a delicious dish. The beefsteak was quite fatty and had a slightly burnt flavor on the outside. The color of the grilled meat wasn’t very appealing. However, the red wine sauce and white wine sauce paired with it were quite good. Some dishes, such as steamed eggs and steamed shrimp, were fairly fresh. However, the squid wasn’t rated very highly—it had a rather unusual taste and was a bit mushy. The dipping sauces here are quite sour and a little bland. The mango sticky rice had a lot of sugar in the coconut milk, making it very sweet with only a mild creamy richness. The dessert cakes were quite good and varied. You can also try the banana dessert here. There is also a good variety of other dishes available, such as pasta and Japanese food. I heard that you can pay a small additional fee to visit in the evening and upgrade the dishes to premium options such as abalone and high-quality shark fin. Since you’re already here, make sure to go up to the revolving floor to enjoy a full panoramic view of Bangkok—it’s definitely worth the experience.

My recent breakfast experience here was exceptional. The high-rise setting offers a panoramic spectacular view of the city, which made for a perfect start to the day. The ambiance was inviting and very comfortable. The breakfast buffet was a true highlight, boasting a vast variety of options. The Indian cuisine section was good featuring authentic and flavorful dishes “limited but good enough”. There are two floors… one is International other is Indian with other.. Place is welcoming like watch the video… But hurry up staff is polite though they closes the counter…before closing time..!!🤭😋

Tips for Visiting Restaurants & Food

Learn the Spice Scale

Say 'mai pet' for no spice, 'pet nit noi' for a little spice, or 'pet mak' if you want it Thai-hot. Most cooks will default to a toned-down version for foreigners unless you specify otherwise.

Follow the Crowds

The busiest street stalls are almost always the best — high turnover means fresh ingredients and a recipe that locals vouch for. An empty restaurant at dinner time is a red flag.

Ice Is Safe

Factory-made tube or cylinder ice (used in virtually all restaurants and stalls) is made from purified water and is safe to consume. You don't need to skip the iced Thai tea.
