Pratunam Market
One of Bangkok's most well-known wholesale clothing markets, Pratunam draws a steady mix of local traders and visiting shoppers to the Ratchathewi district. The market sits alongside Platinum Fashion Mall, creating a dense concentration of budget retail in a relatively compact area. Clothing, accessories, and fabrics dominate the stalls, with prices dropping significantly when buying in bulk — shirts and blouses can be found for as little as 70 baht when purchasing multiple pieces. The atmosphere is intense and fast-moving, with narrow aisles threading between vendors across multiple buildings and sections. The market's boundaries are loosely defined, and part of the experience is in wandering to discover what lies around the next corner. Prices are rarely fixed, and comparing stalls before committing is standard practice — bargaining is expected, particularly for larger orders. Good to know: Although listed hours run from 9am to 8pm daily, many vendors begin trading as early as 5am, and the early morning window is widely considered the most rewarding time to visit. Crowds are thinner, temperatures are cooler, and wholesale buyers are most active. Comfortable shoes and light clothing are strongly recommended, as the space is warm and requires considerable walking to cover properly.

Visitor Reviews
It's the wholesale clothing market for Thai clothing the price difference is significant and the best time is early hours of the day as market starts to open at 0500 am and until 9 am you can get the best bargains I bought 12 Thailand local T shirts for 1000 bhat where as on streets and in malls like MBK or terminal 21 they sell for 250 Bhat each. If you want to buy gifts for family come to this market in early hours and don't miss the cold coffee or Thai tea from the stall shown in the picture this mother and daughter certainly have a magic in their recipe and they get busy from 5 am till day end I am sure as while I was in market they were continuously busy.
Came here mainly to shop and it was intense but fun. So many stalls packed into a small area selling clothes at wholesale prices if you buy in bulk. You really have to walk around and compare since prices vary a lot. It gets hot and crowded fast, but if you are patient and know what you are looking for, you can find some really good deals.
Literally one of the best places to shop in Bangkok! There’s a wide variety of clothes at wholesale prices. You can get a shirt or blouse for as low as 70 baht when you buy at least three pieces. The area is clean, and the people are friendly. Definitely a must-visit for shoppers!

Tips for Visiting Markets & Shopping
Haggle at Markets, Not Malls
Prices at market stalls are negotiable — start at 50–60% of the asking price and meet in the middle. Fixed-price shops and malls don't haggle. Smile and keep it friendly; aggressive bargaining is considered rude.
Arrive Early or Late
Vendors believe the first sale of the day is lucky — you'll often get a better deal if you arrive right when the market opens. Late in the evening, sellers may also discount to avoid packing unsold goods.
Be Cautious with Tailors
Bangkok has excellent tailors, but also many tourist traps. Avoid anyone offering suspiciously cheap suits or who approaches you on the street. Ask your hotel for recommendations, read reviews, and always get two fittings.
