Baiyoke Observation Deck
Perched atop Baiyoke Tower 2 on Ratchaprarop Road in central Bangkok, this observation deck spans multiple floors and delivers sweeping 360-degree views across the Thai capital's vast urban landscape. A standout feature is the rotating open-air rooftop terrace on the uppermost level, which slowly revolves to provide unobstructed sightlines over the city's temples, high-rises, and the Chao Phraya River without requiring visitors to reposition themselves. A standard ticket (around 450 baht) covers access to the floor 77 observation deck, a complimentary drink on floor 83, and the rotating rooftop terrace on floor 84. The deck can also be paired with a buffet dining experience for those wanting to combine sightseeing with a meal. Both options are popular, and the venue draws a steady mix of tourists and hotel guests throughout the week. Hotel guests staying at Baiyoke Sky Hotel receive complimentary access during their stay. Open daily from 10:00 to 22:00, the deck suits visits at multiple times of day, though late afternoon through early evening is particularly rewarding — daylight views gradually give way to Bangkok's illuminated skyline after sunset. Weekends tend to draw larger crowds, so arriving earlier in the day or booking through the hotel's website in advance can help avoid queues. The enclosed lower observation areas offer shelter from the elements, while the open-air rooftop provides a natural breeze at altitude.

Visitor Reviews
I got an affordable rate on Agoda to stay here, and you have free access to the observation deck during your stay. I went up to the revolving open-air rooftop several times; there is a nice breeze at night and the view reminds me of New York City in some way. It's really pretty to see, but I do wonder, behind the glitz of the city lights, you can still think of the many pockets and swaths of poverty in the midst of it. Very pretty, but it makes you wonder, who are all these pretty lights built for? All in all though, it's probably one of the best city views I've seen from an observatory, because it's tall and expansive, and because several of Bangkok's buildings have character, and because there's a 360 degree view on a revolving platform, and there's a nice breeze most days. I think it can do better with seats for people though!
We went to the observation deck as part of our dinner buffet experience but you can go to the deck as it's own standalone experience. The deck is an internal area protected from the elements and has great 360° views of Bangkok. The views are amazing during daylight hours but at sunset or at nighttime they are stunning. There are several areas for your Instagram photos so swings, a balloon basket and even a Tuktuk allow you to pose to your hearts delight. A very good place to visit whilst you are in Bangkok and I would recommend combining it with the buffet experience as well which was excellent.
A great spot to enjoy city views and take amazing photos. For 450 baht, the ticket includes: • Floor 77: observation deck • Floor 83: one free drink • Floor 84: rotating observation deck with a fantastic atmosphere Just relax and enjoy your time.

Vet Elephant Sanctuaries
Only visit sanctuaries that prohibit riding, use no chains or bullhooks, and let elephants roam freely. Elephant Nature Park in Chiang Mai set the standard. If a place offers painting shows or circus tricks, walk away.
Book Through Klook or GetYourGuide
These platforms offer instant confirmation, free cancellation on most activities, and prices that are often lower than walk-up rates. Compare with local agencies for multi-day trips where negotiation might save more.
Do Outdoor Activities in the Morning
Heat and humidity peak from noon to 3 PM. Schedule jungle treks, cycling tours, and outdoor cooking classes for early morning. Water activities are more flexible since you're in and out of the sea.
