Fishermen Hotpot & BBQ
Fishermen Hotpot & BBQ is an all-you-can-eat hotpot and BBQ restaurant tucked into the busy Pratunam area of Ratchathewi, where diners cook fresh seafood, marinated meats, and vegetables at their own table. The menu leans heavily on seafood — prawns, mussels, and fish feature prominently — alongside pork slices and other proteins, with the black chicken slices earning particular praise from regulars. Ordering is handled through a QR code system, keeping the experience efficient and easy to navigate even for first-timers. The atmosphere is casual and social, making it a strong choice for groups, and the staff are consistently noted for being attentive and helpful to guests who are new to the hotpot format. The all-you-can-eat buffet concept suits mixed groups well, since each person controls what goes into their own pot. Occasional stock limitations on certain items are worth factoring in during peak hours, though the overall spread is considered generous and good value. On a practical note, the restaurant opens at 11:00 AM and stays open until 3:00 AM every day of the week, which makes it a genuinely flexible option for late-night dining after exploring the city. Arriving earlier in the evening tends to mean a more relaxed experience before the late crowd builds. As with all hotpot dining, clothing can pick up cooking smells, so keeping that in mind when planning the evening is sensible. Checking the website before visiting is recommended for current menu details and pricing.

Visitor Reviews
Fishermen Hotpot & BBQ is such a hidden gem! I loved the all-you-can-eat concept—the seafood and meats were incredibly fresh and well-marinated. Using the QR code system to order made everything so much faster and more convenient. The staff are very attentive and keep the ingredients flowing quickly to the table. Pro-tip: It’s located in Soi Phetchaburi 15, which is an easy walk from the Pratunam shopping area.
It’s my first time trying this and the price is reasonable. The soup was great and it’s a perfect combo with sliced pork. Some of the items we ordered were out of stock but that’s fine. I really like to have small squid but not much option for squid. They do have dry squid and sort of. For those who like it, it’s perfectly fine. I like the atmosphere too. Good music, good dessert!
The servers are so nice! Super helpful for our first time doing Hot pot. The food was exceptional. We had a ton of fun and are super glad we came to this place. Would definitely go there again

Tips for Visiting Restaurants & Food
Learn the Spice Scale
Say 'mai pet' for no spice, 'pet nit noi' for a little spice, or 'pet mak' if you want it Thai-hot. Most cooks will default to a toned-down version for foreigners unless you specify otherwise.
Follow the Crowds
The busiest street stalls are almost always the best — high turnover means fresh ingredients and a recipe that locals vouch for. An empty restaurant at dinner time is a red flag.
Ice Is Safe
Factory-made tube or cylinder ice (used in virtually all restaurants and stalls) is made from purified water and is safe to consume. You don't need to skip the iced Thai tea.
