Paradise Pai
More than a bar, Paradise Pai operates as a circus and performance venue at the heart of Pai's nightlife scene. Twice weekly fire shows draw visitors and travelling performers alike, with a diverse lineup of acts spanning multiple disciplines and skill levels. The programming typically runs about an hour and blends spectacle with genuine community spirit, making it an experience that stands apart from the standard bar format found elsewhere in town. The atmosphere leans strongly toward the welcoming and communal. Staff are noted for their friendliness, and the space functions as both a training ground and a social hub for circus practitioners. On show nights, the energy builds from the performance into a DJ set and late party, keeping the venue lively well past the initial show. The bar operates daily from 10:00 AM to 1:00 AM, so it also functions as a casual daytime and early evening hangout outside of show nights. Good to know: Fire shows currently take place twice a week, reportedly on Sundays and Tuesdays, starting at 8:30 PM, with a 200 baht entry fee for the show. These details can change, so it is worth confirming the schedule on arrival in Pai or checking locally before making plans around a specific night. Arriving close to the 8:30 PM start time is advisable to get a good spot.

Visitor Reviews
I went for the fire show and was absolutely mesmerized by all the incredible talent. Very diverse performers with various skills levels which is very inspiring to witness as a performer myself. The food was killer, the back kitchen is run by an 18 year old and a couple of his friends and let me tell you, they can COOK. Great community here!
The best circus and fire shows you can see for a fracture of European price. Many acts and all very talented
A real circus with community values. The program was highly entertaining and enriching, followed by a fantastic DJ set and party. I’m disappointed to see people giving low reviews, because the circus is a place for everybody. The line up was great, 200baht is nothing when you consider the social impact that this artist space has. Of course, the drink are slightly more expensive than 7-11, unfortunately great vibes don’t keep the light on or fuel on the fire props!

Tips for Visiting Nightlife & Bars
Carry Your Passport or a Copy
Clubs and some bars check IDs strictly, especially in Bangkok's Thonglor, RCA, and Sukhumvit areas. A photo of your passport info page on your phone usually works, but carrying a laminated photocopy is safer.
Know the Closing Times
Legal closing time is 2 AM for most venues, though enforcement varies. In Bangkok's designated entertainment zones (RCA, Silom Soi 2/4, Khao San), some clubs stay open until 4 AM. Islands tend to be more relaxed about hours.
Buy Bucket Drinks Cautiously
Island bucket drinks (mixed spirits in a small bucket) are cheap and fun but notoriously strong and inconsistent. Stick to one, stay hydrated, and never leave your drink unattended at beach parties.
