Luna Beach Bar
Sitting on the edge of Krabi with direct views of the sea and mountains, Luna Beach Bar is a spacious, casual venue that blends sports bar energy with a genuinely scenic backdrop. Multiple pool tables, table tennis, foosball, and three separate bar stations make it a lively spot for a relaxed evening, while the open-air layout lets the coastal setting do much of the talking — particularly around sunset. Despite the "beach bar" name, there is no direct beach access, but the sea views remain a consistent highlight for visitors. The food menu covers a reasonable range, with sandwiches and seafood among the options, and there are enough vegetarian choices to accommodate most groups. Families are well catered for too, with a kids' play area on site. Drinks are priced at the mid-range level, though some visitors note they run slightly higher than comparable spots in the area. Three bars help keep service moving during busy periods. Good to know: Luna Beach Bar opens at 10am and runs until 2am every day of the week, making it flexible for everything from a lazy afternoon drink to a late night out. The sunset hour is a particularly popular time to visit given the views, so arriving a little before dusk is a practical way to secure a good table before the evening crowd builds.

Visitor Reviews
Spacious seaside restaurant featuring a playground for kids, a bar, and pool tables for adults. While there's no direct beach access, the stunning sea views enhance the dining experience. Enjoy delicious and varied Thai cuisine, or explore traditional European options if Thai food isn't your preference. Our food prices are very competitive, though alcoholic drinks are priced slightly higher than some other places in the area. Service is traditionally Thai-welcoming. Try them! Highly recommend!
Great place for dinner and sunset 🌆 Absolutely gorgeous views as you can see by the photos. The food was good and tasty. We had a good time dining here with the family. Not many vegetarian options, but that's how it is all over Thailand. However the staff understood enough English to accommodate our requests. You should definitely visit this place for dinner and beautiful sunset, you will not regret it. Hope this helps 🙏
A sports bar, situated overlooking the beach, with views of the sea and the mountains. There's a snooker table, table tennis, foosball, kid's play area to keep you entertained. Food wise, the sandwiches and french fries were really good. However, they charge a hefty 5% fees if you wish to pay via credit cards.

Carry Your Passport or a Copy
Clubs and some bars check IDs strictly, especially in Bangkok's Thonglor, RCA, and Sukhumvit areas. A photo of your passport info page on your phone usually works, but carrying a laminated photocopy is safer.
Know the Closing Times
Legal closing time is 2 AM for most venues, though enforcement varies. In Bangkok's designated entertainment zones (RCA, Silom Soi 2/4, Khao San), some clubs stay open until 4 AM. Islands tend to be more relaxed about hours.
Buy Bucket Drinks Cautiously
Island bucket drinks (mixed spirits in a small bucket) are cheap and fun but notoriously strong and inconsistent. Stick to one, stay hydrated, and never leave your drink unattended at beach parties.
