Palm Beach Bar Pattaya
Tucked along Soi Buakhao in central Pattaya, this bar has built a loyal following by offering something genuinely different from the surrounding venues. Visitors consistently highlight the carefully curated music selection as a standout feature, describing the vibe as better suited to a proper night out than the typical bars in the area. The cocktails draw particular praise for being creative and well-balanced, and the overall atmosphere strikes a balance between stylish and unpretentious. What makes Palm Beach Bar worth seeking out is the personal touch from the owners and staff. Multiple visitors note that the family-run hospitality creates a warm, welcoming environment where returning guests are greeted like regulars. The crowd tends to be sociable and the setting lends itself to both relaxed early-evening drinks and livelier late-night sessions, depending on when you arrive. Good to know: Soi Buakhao is one of Pattaya's more accessible and low-key entertainment streets, making it a comfortable starting point for an evening out before heading elsewhere, or a destination in its own right. No website or listed opening hours are available online, so it is worth arriving on the earlier side of the evening to secure a good spot, particularly on weekends when the bar draws a consistent crowd.

Visitor Reviews
This place is fantastic. Really different from all the bars around the area because they play different kind of music and the vibes are better for partying. A real oasis, gem among the rough. Not constantly bothered by the girls either to buy them drinks but that is maybe because I was there with my gf. Might have been a different case if I came alone or with some friends. Still, staff was friendly overall. The drinks are reasonably priced. The music was great - afro house, tech-house. They have 2 pool tables also and we were told that the party gets even better after midnight. Too bad we got tired before that. This is now one of my fav bars in TreeTown/Soi Buakhao area.
This bar and the owner as well as its son are very polite and friendly people who will welcome you warmly anytime. Once you come back for a second, third or any other visit at this place you’ll be greeted and remembered warmly. The atmosphere, music, lighting and the pool tables are outstanding quality. Also you don’t get pushed and forced by any of the stuff to but ladies a drink and this will make you feel so easy going, comfy and relexed. I for sure can recommend this place at any time . When you are around three town you have to pop by! Thanks so much 🙏
This place is a real gem. The atmosphere is stylish but relaxed, the music is perfectly chosen, and the staff is incredibly friendly and professional. The cocktails are outstanding – creative, well balanced, and beautifully presented. You can really tell that the bartenders know their craft. What I loved most is the vibe: perfect for a chilled evening with friends, a date night, or just enjoying a high-quality drink after a long day. Prices are very fair for the quality you get. Highly recommended – I will definitely come back!
Tips for Visiting Nightlife & Bars
Carry Your Passport or a Copy
Clubs and some bars check IDs strictly, especially in Bangkok's Thonglor, RCA, and Sukhumvit areas. A photo of your passport info page on your phone usually works, but carrying a laminated photocopy is safer.
Know the Closing Times
Legal closing time is 2 AM for most venues, though enforcement varies. In Bangkok's designated entertainment zones (RCA, Silom Soi 2/4, Khao San), some clubs stay open until 4 AM. Islands tend to be more relaxed about hours.
Buy Bucket Drinks Cautiously
Island bucket drinks (mixed spirits in a small bucket) are cheap and fun but notoriously strong and inconsistent. Stick to one, stay hydrated, and never leave your drink unattended at beach parties.
