Teddy Weed Beach
Sitting directly on Lamai Beach, this licensed cannabis bar and beachfront lounge has carved out a reputation as one of Koh Samui's more distinctive nightlife spots. Bean loungers face the ocean, the atmosphere leans relaxed and welcoming, and the staff draw consistent praise for attentive, friendly service. It works equally well as a lively evening out or a low-key place to unwind by the water. The menu covers a solid range of cannabis products alongside creative cocktails, Thai food, and shisha — the only shisha option currently available in the Lamai area, which accounts for slightly higher prices on that front. Fire shows run regularly and are a genuine highlight, drawing strong reactions from visitors. A small air-conditioned area is available on-site, a welcome detail on warmer nights. Good to know: cannabis consumption in Thailand is legal under specific regulations, and venues operating in this space do so within that framework — though the rules remain subject to change, so checking current guidelines before visiting is advisable. Opening hours are not publicly listed, so contacting the venue directly is recommended, particularly during shoulder season when hours may vary.

Visitor Reviews
Really great place! The staff is super nice, the food is simple, but tastes good, the cocktails are delicious and balanced. The fire show was outstanding, probably one of the best I've ever seen. A couple suggestions: - the music is a tad bit too loud and not always matching the place. Reggae is great, but dynamic hip-hop music with heavy bass doesn't feel like the best fit for the beach - the material of the beanie bags outside the restaurant is not easy to clean so some of them are pretty dirty. Maybe a different material would help make it easier to clean
Excellent weed bar and beach bar in general.very good service and some of the best thai food.weed selection and prices are very good as is the weed.perfect for the wife too sun and swim while I sit in the cool shade trying the menu.staff are very helpful and welcoming and Bo the dog keeps everything else in check.my favorite place too chill.👍🏻
Beautiful place, i come here just to smoke shisha (the only one in Lamai, tha’s why is a bit expensive), there are many pouf outside, many drink and food selection. Little gem: there’s a small air conditioned room where you can smoke and chill with PlayStation 5 💯

Tips for Visiting Nightlife & Bars
Carry Your Passport or a Copy
Clubs and some bars check IDs strictly, especially in Bangkok's Thonglor, RCA, and Sukhumvit areas. A photo of your passport info page on your phone usually works, but carrying a laminated photocopy is safer.
Know the Closing Times
Legal closing time is 2 AM for most venues, though enforcement varies. In Bangkok's designated entertainment zones (RCA, Silom Soi 2/4, Khao San), some clubs stay open until 4 AM. Islands tend to be more relaxed about hours.
Buy Bucket Drinks Cautiously
Island bucket drinks (mixed spirits in a small bucket) are cheap and fun but notoriously strong and inconsistent. Stick to one, stay hydrated, and never leave your drink unattended at beach parties.
