Rich Club
Rich Club brings a high-energy nightlife experience to the Bo Put area of Koh Samui, standing out from the island's more typical beach bars with a combination of a resident DJ and a live drummer performing alongside the music. The result is a loud, danceable atmosphere that draws both tourists and locals looking for a proper night out rather than a quiet drink. Visitors can expect pumping music, decent cocktails, and a lively crowd. The venue offers pool tables at 20 Baht per game and shisha — watermelon being a popular choice — alongside standard bar drinks at pricing broadly in line with the Chaweng area. Staff are noted for being friendly and quick. It is worth knowing that the music volume is genuinely loud, making conversation difficult, so this suits those who want to dance or soak up the energy rather than socialise over a quiet chat. Good to know: Opening hours are not listed online, so it is worth checking ahead before making the trip, particularly for early evening plans. The Bo Put location puts it slightly away from the main Chaweng strip, giving it a slightly more local feel without sacrificing atmosphere. Mid-range pricing makes it accessible, but carrying cash is advisable as card payment options at smaller Koh Samui bars can be unreliable.

Visitor Reviews
Billiard is 20 Baht a game and shisha for 650 Baht, I liked watermelon. Quite expensive, true, but hey it’s called rich club.. 😄 beer was normal price for Chaweng I think. They have a dope DJ and an amazing drummer! Very welcoming vibe. I was allowed to hop on stage and sing along, it was super fun!! 🥳
Fun and entertaining with the love drummer doing it along side the normal music . Different and enjoyable
Great cocktails, friendly staff. Nice to finally find a bar in Koh Samui that plays loud music!

Tips for Visiting Nightlife & Bars
Carry Your Passport or a Copy
Clubs and some bars check IDs strictly, especially in Bangkok's Thonglor, RCA, and Sukhumvit areas. A photo of your passport info page on your phone usually works, but carrying a laminated photocopy is safer.
Know the Closing Times
Legal closing time is 2 AM for most venues, though enforcement varies. In Bangkok's designated entertainment zones (RCA, Silom Soi 2/4, Khao San), some clubs stay open until 4 AM. Islands tend to be more relaxed about hours.
Buy Bucket Drinks Cautiously
Island bucket drinks (mixed spirits in a small bucket) are cheap and fun but notoriously strong and inconsistent. Stick to one, stay hydrated, and never leave your drink unattended at beach parties.
