Marasca Samui
Marasca Samui is a boutique resort hotel situated directly on Chaweng Beach in the Bophut sub-district of Koh Samui, placing guests within easy reach of the island's most vibrant stretch of coastline and the nearby ARKbar beach club. The property stands out for its thoughtful design, with select rooms featuring private plunge pools, and a consistently high standard of personalised service that guests frequently highlight as the defining feature of their stay. Visitors can expect a warm, attentive atmosphere that leans toward intimate over large-scale resort. The on-site Spa by Bow receives particular praise from guests, with the in-house therapists noted as a genuine highlight. Rooms are well-appointed and the overall property aesthetic reflects careful attention to comfort and aesthetics, making it well-suited to couples and travellers seeking a refined but relaxed Koh Samui experience. Good to know: Koh Samui's peak season runs from December through February, when weather is dry, demand is high, and the beach is at its most accessible. Booking well in advance is advisable during this period, particularly for plunge pool rooms, which are limited and popular. The resort's website at https://www.marasca.live/ is the most reliable source for current availability, rates, and package options. For those arriving by air, arranging airport transfers ahead of time is recommended, as transport from Samui Airport fills quickly during the high season.

Visitor Reviews
My stay at Marasca Samui was absolutely exceptional and exceeded all expectations. From the very first moment, the level of service stood out — genuinely warm, attentive, and professional at every step. As a Hilton Honors status guest, I truly felt recognized and valued. The team clearly understands what premium hospitality means: personalized approach, proactive care, and sincere attention to detail that makes you feel special rather than just accommodated. The views are simply stunning — beautiful sea panoramas that create a sense of calm and luxury throughout the stay. Whether enjoying the morning or watching the sunset, the surroundings are unforgettable. The cuisine deserves special praise. The food was consistently excellent, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. Dining at the hotel was a real pleasure and an important part of the overall experience. What impressed me most was the care provided at every step — nothing felt forced or scripted. The staff was always one step ahead, ready to help, advise, and make the stay effortless and relaxing. Marasca Samui is a place where high standards meet genuine hospitality. I would gladly return and wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking for comfort, great service, and a truly memorable stay.
2 weeks stay in This lovely boutique hotel with the most amazing staff. We were spoilt by the staffs warmth, friendliness and overall amazing service. From arriving when the top G Big Tony took our cases to The amazing Rung checking us in and looking after us so well for 2 weeks, then out to the Restaurant and pool area where Olive Oil was incredible. Behind the scenes the lovable Lex would make your room sparkle like a quite mouse while you was out enjoying yourselves. We are very well travelled family and have rarely had encountered such a lovely team that make this great hotel stand out and hit the 5 stars. Location is great is you like the nightlife and restaurants on your doorstep and the hotel acts and perfect quiet retreat when you return. You woke never know the actions out on the Main Street is there. My only down side is the cabanas beach club DJ is too loud for a boutique hotel setting. But I’m sure many find fine. The staff turned the music down on request though. The hotel is aimed at the higher end of the market and it should accept the clientele probably want the Ibiza chilled vibe atmosphere. So go to volume 3 out of 5 not 5.
This is one of our favorite hotels that we’ve ever stayed at. If you’re trying to decide between different hotels on Koh Samui, just pick this one. You will not be disappointed. The service was above and beyond, with each staff member going out of their way to make sure everything was taken care of (special shoutout to Tony and Beam, along with every single other staff member from front desk to cabanas). The rooms were beautiful, spotlessly clean and super comfortable. Their app made everything incredibly easy, and gave us access to all the hotel amenities at our fingertips (of which there were a lot). The little gifts that were left for us each day made the experience stand out ahead of any other luxury hotel we’ve stayed at. The hotel is right in the middle of all the action in Koh Samui (both at night and during the day) which makes walking around easy, but carefully tucked away so that you wouldn’t even know what’s around you while you are in it. We are already looking forward to coming back as soon as possible!
Tips for Visiting Hotels & Resorts
Book Shoulder Season
May–June and September–October offer dramatic discounts (30–50% off peak rates) with fewer crowds. Weather is mixed but rarely a washout — afternoon showers clear quickly.
Compare OTAs and Direct Rates
Always check the hotel's own website after finding a rate on Agoda or Booking.com. Many Thai properties offer a best-rate guarantee or throw in perks like free breakfast when you book direct.
Pool Villa Doesn't Mean Expensive
Private pool villas in Krabi, Hua Hin, and Chiang Mai start around 2,500–4,000 THB/night — a fraction of Bali or Maldives prices. Search specifically for 'pool villa' to surface hidden gems.
