Why go, and how to do it well
Cold beer, a game on the screen and a full cooked breakfast is roughly the whole pitch here, and it works. The bar itself is new and well laid out, the sort of place designed by someone who actually thought about sightlines to the screens rather than just bolting a telly to the wall. Prices are fair. The small breakfast runs 170 baht and gets you bacon, sausage, egg, hash brown, tomato, mushrooms, beans and toast, and there's a bacon, sausage and egg roll at 130 baht. If your guesthouse on Maenumkwai Road doesn't include breakfast, this is a good answer to that problem.
The honest caveat is the kitchen. One diner waited an hour for three breakfasts while a later table was served well ahead of them, so the pass isn't always firing in order. Order, get a drink, and don't book anything for the next hour. If you're just there for a beer and the football, none of that matters.

Having previously had a beer here on several occasions, we decided to try a breakfast. 1 x small breakfast.... two bacon, one sausage, one egg, one hash brown, tomato, mushrooms, beans, two toast. 170 thb 1 x Bacon, sausage, and egg roll. 130 thb Excellent food and service. If you don't have breakfast included in your hotel, give it a try!

Having been to the bar for a drink on 2 previous occasions, we decided to go for breakfast this morning. The positives with the bar are that it is a very well designed, new bar and the prices are good. However, approximately 10 minutes after we ordered 3 English breakfasts and a sausage, egg and bacon roll, 3 other customers entered the bar, ordered their English breakfasts and received them after approximately 15-20 minutes. Our 3 English breakfasts took 1 hour to be served and my sausage, egg and bacon roll took another 10 minutes to be served. My wife asked as to why it was taking so long to receive our food and why the other customers were served before us. The answer was that they ordered before us. The food was very good and as a regular visitor to Kanchanaburi, a good English sports bar with this standard of food is exactly what is needed in the area. However, what I don’t find acceptable is the standard of customer service as described above. The 5 of us will not be back and will be taking our custom elsewhere.
