Yonlada Massage and Spa
Situated on Maenamkwai Road in the heart of Kanchanaburi town, this family-run massage shop has built a strong following among both travellers and locals for its skilled, attentive therapists. Visitors frequently highlight the quality of the bodywork — particularly treatments targeting the head, neck, and shoulders — with many describing therapists who intuitively identify areas of tension and work them effectively. The welcoming atmosphere and friendly service from the owner add to the appeal, making it a natural stop after a day spent exploring the Bridge over the River Kwai and surrounding historical sites. The shop offers traditional Thai massage in a dedicated, professional setting. While most visitors report a high standard of technique, experiences can vary by therapist, so those with specific needs or preferences are encouraged to communicate them clearly at the time of booking. The extended daily hours — 8:00 AM to 9:00 PM most days, with an 8:30 AM start on Saturdays — make it easy to schedule a session around sightseeing. Good to know: Walk-ins appear to be accommodated, but contacting the shop in advance via their Facebook page (Yonlada.massageandspa) is advisable during peak seasons or if visiting as a group. Pricing is best confirmed directly before your visit, as it is not listed publicly.

Visitor Reviews
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Exceptional Service & Skill – A Must-Visit! I had a wonderful experience at this massage shop! It is a lovely family-run business, and the Lady Boss is incredibly friendly and communicates perfectly in English, which made the whole process seamless. The environment is very clean and comfortable, creating a great atmosphere to relax. As for the massage itself, the masseur was excellent—the pressure point technique was exactly what I needed. They focused on all the right spots and completely relieved my tired legs after a long day of walking. To top it off, the prices are very reasonable for the high quality of service you receive. Everyone there is friendly and welcoming. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a professional massage and a nice place to unwind!
Best head neck & shoulder massage I've ever had! The lady was so skilled it was like she knew where I had pain/tightness & worked the muscles well. So relaxing & beneficial. Partner also had an excellent foot massage. Additionally, it was really clean, with adequate privacy & comfort. Will definitely go again!
Wow wow wow After a month in Thailand, I did a massage every day and this is the best!! We were a group of 8 and they all said the same "The best massage ever" I recommend that you do it and you will thank me for it

Learn Wat Pho First
Wat Pho in Bangkok is the birthplace of traditional Thai massage education. Their on-site massage pavilion offers excellent treatments from students and graduates at reasonable prices — and you know the technique is authentic.
Communicate Pressure Preferences
Thai massage can be intense. Say 'bao bao' for lighter pressure or 'nак nак' for harder. A good therapist will check in, but don't hesitate to speak up — suffering in silence defeats the purpose.
Book Longer Sessions
A 60-minute massage is fine, but 90 or 120 minutes allows the therapist to work thoroughly. The price difference is often only 200–400 THB for an extra hour — worth it for a deeper, more relaxing experience.
