Earthling Craft - Coffee & Bar
Earthling Craft sits in the Tha Wa Su Kri area of Ayutthaya and pulls off something genuinely uncommon: a space that functions equally well as a specialty coffee shop, craft beer bar, cocktail spot, and casual restaurant. The owner is a hands-on presence, known for weighing coffee with precision, recommending local sights to passing travellers, and personally apologising if food takes longer than expected — small touches that leave a strong impression. The food menu leans into handmade pizzas with a notably chewy, moisture-retaining crust, alongside burgers, mushroom soup, and an extensive range of chocolate drinks, both hot and cold. A selection of board games is available for those settling in for a longer visit, and a display of live spiders and lizards adds an unexpected talking point. The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming, drawing a mix of solo travellers, couples, and small groups looking to unwind after a day exploring Ayutthaya's temples and ruins. Good to know: The venue sits outside the main tourist district, so navigating with a maps app is recommended. Opening hours are not publicly listed, so it is worth checking ahead before making a special trip, particularly for an evening visit. Given the casual, lived-in atmosphere, comfortable clothing is entirely appropriate.

Visitor Reviews
Really loved the ambience of this cafe, as well as the food and drinks! They have a wide variety of chocolate drinks (hot/cold) and coffee options, all which were incredible. This spot is a must try! The people working here were also incredibly friendly.
We ordered a pizza and hamburger. Both were delicious. We also tried hot chocolate which was first rate. The service was good but a bit slow. The owner apologised in person for the delay. Even the background music was to my taste. Very good value.
The guy that runs the cafe is so lovely. Helped me pick some sights to see while I ride to Chiang Mai. Coffee is very well made, he weighs everything exactly and puts a lot of care in. Shop is also very cool with some spiders and an iguana!!!
Tips for Visiting Nightlife & Bars
Carry Your Passport or a Copy
Clubs and some bars check IDs strictly, especially in Bangkok's Thonglor, RCA, and Sukhumvit areas. A photo of your passport info page on your phone usually works, but carrying a laminated photocopy is safer.
Know the Closing Times
Legal closing time is 2 AM for most venues, though enforcement varies. In Bangkok's designated entertainment zones (RCA, Silom Soi 2/4, Khao San), some clubs stay open until 4 AM. Islands tend to be more relaxed about hours.
Buy Bucket Drinks Cautiously
Island bucket drinks (mixed spirits in a small bucket) are cheap and fun but notoriously strong and inconsistent. Stick to one, stay hydrated, and never leave your drink unattended at beach parties.
