Elephant Bar

Consistently spectacular music from the band, and they just keep getting better over the years. All three musicians—the singer, pianist, and guitarist—have wonderful voices and create such a great atmosphere. The cocktails are delicious, and the staff are always friendly, welcoming, and attentive. A truly lovely place to enjoy great music and drinks.

This bar is located within the fabulous Centara Grand Beach Resort & Villas. Had a few drinks here earlier tonight and the band performing was very good. The cocktails were well made and most enjoyable. The service crew were attentive, unobtrusive and friendly. Enjoy the experience tonight and will likely return.

I visited Elephant Bar at Centara Grand Hua Hin. Some parts of the property are under renovation, but the atmosphere was still nice. I ordered the Lychee & Ginger Mojito and Fish & Chips. The mojito was a bit sweet, but I could accept it. The Fish & Chips portion was big compared to the price and tasted good. However, I had an issue with the receipt. I paid by credit card and asked for a receipt/tax invoice. The staff said they could not issue it because the bill included alcohol. I then asked if they could issue it for the food only, but they checked with the team and said no again. I have visited other Centara properties before and they were able to issue a proper receipt/tax invoice without any problem. That’s why I’m quite surprised. If government tax is charged, I would like to know if Centara can issue a proper legal receipt or tax invoice for this payment. Overall, the food and drinks were good, but I hope this can be clarified.
