Blackout Bar Huahin
Tucked away on a quiet soi in Hua Hin, Blackout Bar offers a welcome escape from the busier strips, drawing a relaxed crowd with its welcoming atmosphere, comfortable seating, and well-crafted cocktails. The bar has built a reputation for its signature drinks and strong pours, with Negronis singled out by regulars as a particular highlight. A quality pool table sits at the heart of the space, and the staff are known for being genuinely sociable — happy to share a game or a laugh with guests rather than just take orders. The vibe here is low-key and social without being loud or overwhelming, making it a solid choice for travellers who want to unwind rather than party. Seating is comfortable, the space is clean, and the alley location gives it a tucked-away, locals-in-the-know feel. Visitors describe it as family-friendly, with a private couch area available for those wanting a quieter corner. Blackout Bar is open every day from 3:00 PM through to 1:00 AM, making it a good option for an afternoon drink or a late-night wind-down. It is worth noting that the bar does not have a dedicated website, so heading directly to the address on Soi Kanjanomai is the most reliable approach. Those planning to play pool should come ready for a challenge — at least one staff member is reportedly a very capable opponent at the table.

Visitor Reviews
A Must-Visit in Hua Hin! Blackout Bar has such a cool, welcoming vibe. The cocktails are delicious (try their signature—it’s amazing!) A cozy place you can mingle with friends unlike many other bars in the area, it’s warm, welcoming, and relaxed. You can even bring the kids, which makes it feel more like a community hangout than just a nightlife spot. The staff are super friendly and make you feel right at home. Whether you’re popping in for a quiet drink or a fun night out, this place has it all.
Brilliant bar for a quiet chill with people watching and the strongest tasty cocktails in Hua Hin. Family friendly with a nice private couch to relax on. Pool table is brilliant and the staff speak wonderful English. Manager is a lovely guy to speak to. The long island ice teas are delicious. Music is chilled and allows plenty on uninterrupted conversation. Drop in if that suits your needs.
Great cocktails plus very friendly and personable staff who doesn't mind sharing a laugh or a game of pool with you! Comfy seating, a top class pool table, and situated in an quiet alley away from the hustle and bustle, makes the bar a nice and relaxing place to hang out after a day on the beach!

Tips for Visiting Nightlife & Bars
Carry Your Passport or a Copy
Clubs and some bars check IDs strictly, especially in Bangkok's Thonglor, RCA, and Sukhumvit areas. A photo of your passport info page on your phone usually works, but carrying a laminated photocopy is safer.
Know the Closing Times
Legal closing time is 2 AM for most venues, though enforcement varies. In Bangkok's designated entertainment zones (RCA, Silom Soi 2/4, Khao San), some clubs stay open until 4 AM. Islands tend to be more relaxed about hours.
Buy Bucket Drinks Cautiously
Island bucket drinks (mixed spirits in a small bucket) are cheap and fun but notoriously strong and inconsistent. Stick to one, stay hydrated, and never leave your drink unattended at beach parties.
