Nana Plaza
Know what you're walking into. This is an adults-only complex, three floors of bars packed tight around a courtyard off Sukhumvit, and it makes no apology for what it is. Some people find it eye-opening in the best way. Others take one look and leave. Both reactions are fair, and I'd rather you decided before you turn up than after.
Doors open at 7pm, but the place doesn't really wake until around nine. Before that it can feel run-down and half empty. The layout works in your favour once things get going, since every bar has its own character and you can keep moving until one fits. Ground-floor open-air bars are the easy option if you just want a beer and a look at the crowd. The top-floor food court is genuinely good value for Thai food and a useful reset mid-evening. There's a Starbucks downstairs, plus pharmacies, currency exchange and clothing shops.

Reviews from Google
All there is to find can be found ✨️ 🙌 🤣😂 Came here just to see what the hype was about. It is definitely an eye-opening experience! The neon lights and the energy are unlike anything else. We grabbed a beer at one of the open-air bars on the ground floor just to people-watch. It’s loud, wild, and a bit chaotic, but everyone was surprisingly friendly. Definitely a 'must-see' at least once if you're in Bangkok for the nightlife, even if you’re just there for the spectacle. A few tips for your visit: Safety: It’s generally very safe, but mention "staying alert" or "checking the bill" to sound like a seasoned traveler. Best Time:Arrived around 10:00 PM as that’s when it really picks up. Spanky’s or Billboard adds a nice touch to the night
Looking for nightlife than Nana Plaza has everything to offer you. A variety of restaurants and bars, entertainment options and massages for blocks. This place was so exciting and fun. Highly recommend you enjoy a night out here.
Atmosphere: While some visitors find the interior "run-down" or "deserted" during the day, others appreciate its quietness compared to the bustling nightlife outside. Dining: The top-floor food court is highly rated for offering affordable, authentic Thai cuisine in a clean environment. A popular Starbucks is also located on the ground floor. Facilities: The mall features various clothing stores, pharmacies, currency exchange booths, and massage parlors. Location: Situated at the corner of Sukhumvit Soi 3, it serves as a gateway to the area's famous nightlife, including the nearby Nana Plaza adult entertainment complex.

Tips for Visiting Nightlife & Bars
Carry Your Passport or a Copy
Clubs and some bars check IDs strictly, especially in Bangkok's Thonglor, RCA, and Sukhumvit areas. A photo of your passport info page on your phone usually works, but carrying a laminated photocopy is safer.
Know the Closing Times
Legal closing time is 2 AM for most venues, though enforcement varies. In Bangkok's designated entertainment zones (RCA, Silom Soi 2/4, Khao San), some clubs stay open until 4 AM. Islands tend to be more relaxed about hours.
Buy Bucket Drinks Cautiously
Island bucket drinks (mixed spirits in a small bucket) are cheap and fun but notoriously strong and inconsistent. Stick to one, stay hydrated, and never leave your drink unattended at beach parties.
