Tiger Toy street bar
Tucked along Damnoen Kasem Road — the main artery connecting Hua Hin town to its famous beach — Tiger Toy is a street bar and casual restaurant run by a welcoming family team. Owner Toy and the staff have built a genuine reputation for pulling in passersby and turning a quick stop into a two-night fixture, which says a lot about the atmosphere here. It sits in an ideal spot for people-watching, and the open street-bar setup makes it easy to drop in on a whim.
The menu stretches beyond drinks into solid food territory, with spring rolls and other Thai bites drawing consistent praise from visitors. Cocktails are a highlight, and the bar keeps things affordable without cutting corners on quality. Seating extends into a back area, which means there is usually room even when the front fills up. The crowd tends to be a relaxed mix of locals and travellers, and the vibe leans social and unhurried rather than loud or club-like.
Tiger Toy opens daily from 8:00 AM through to 11:30 PM, making it equally suited to a daytime refreshment stop, a post-beach wind-down, or a proper evening out. Given its location on the road to the beach, it works naturally as a first or last stop of the day. Those heading out for the night should note it closes at 11:30 PM, so plan accordingly if a longer session is on the cards.

Reviews from Google
Great place! Toy, the owner, is incredibly friendly and welcoming — he makes you feel comfortable right away. The bar is perfectly located on the road to the beach, making it a great stop to relax and enjoy a drink. The beers are always cold, and the cocktails are excellent, well prepared and perfectly balanced. The atmosphere is relaxed, friendly, and enjoyable, whether you come with friends or just want to unwind at the end of the day. They also offer food service with delicious dishes, which is a great bonus. On top of that, there is a laundry service that is very fast and provides great quality. Highly recommended if you are in the area. I will definitely come back!
The enthusiasm of these two is a joy to watch. Great food and drink. Also a really good people watching spot with the added bonus of seeing these guys entice people in. Can also recommend the laundry service offered too
Great service by what seems like a well run family. Food always tastes great and not too expensive. Good drink options. Lots of people normally but they have extra seats in the back.

Tips for Visiting Nightlife & Bars
Carry Your Passport or a Copy
Clubs and some bars check IDs strictly, especially in Bangkok's Thonglor, RCA, and Sukhumvit areas. A photo of your passport info page on your phone usually works, but carrying a laminated photocopy is safer.
Know the Closing Times
Legal closing time is 2 AM for most venues, though enforcement varies. In Bangkok's designated entertainment zones (RCA, Silom Soi 2/4, Khao San), some clubs stay open until 4 AM. Islands tend to be more relaxed about hours.
Buy Bucket Drinks Cautiously
Island bucket drinks (mixed spirits in a small bucket) are cheap and fun but notoriously strong and inconsistent. Stick to one, stay hydrated, and never leave your drink unattended at beach parties.
